00:00 --> 00:06 [SPEAKER_01]: But with an episode number 303 of the Marine Layer podcast, it's our American League Division series preview.
00:06 --> 00:08 [SPEAKER_01]: We have the Mariners opponent.
00:08 --> 00:16 [SPEAKER_01]: It'll be the Tigers and the Mariners for the first to five starting on Saturday and we're going to break down all the storylines heading into the weekend.
00:17 --> 00:28 [SPEAKER_00]: A reminder to you guys, if you want to stay on top of everything we're doing, make sure to head right over to our website that's marinelayerpod.com, where you can find all our episodes along with our merch, which we hope to see you go get.

00:36 --> 00:39 [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be active in the posties at all on social media at marinelayerpod.
00:40 --> 00:41 [SPEAKER_00]: Let's get it rolling!
00:54 --> 01:08 [SPEAKER_01]: And we welcome you to this episode of the Marine Lair podcast part of the just baseball podcast network recording here on Thursday evening October 2nd I'm gonna warn the people at the beginning of this episode.
01:09 --> 01:18 [SPEAKER_01]: You're gonna get some pretty stark vibes from either side of the eye on this podcast Would you like to start while Where do you want to start?
01:19 --> 01:20 [SPEAKER_01]: You're leaning it in you tell me
01:22 --> 01:23 [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I want to start with the Mariners.
01:24 --> 01:28 [SPEAKER_01]: There's only really one bit of Mariners information to note as we head into this series.
01:29 --> 01:38 [SPEAKER_01]: We do, I don't want to spend a good amount of time on the Tigers talking about the matchup with the Mariners and what to look for really in this series and whether or not we feel good.
01:39 --> 01:45 [SPEAKER_01]: But the number one storyline, Lyle, is that each of us coming out of retirement to play in the outfield in the LDS.
01:46 --> 01:46 [SPEAKER_00]: Ha!
01:46 --> 01:48 [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, so you're boycotting the playoffs.
01:52 --> 02:02 [SPEAKER_00]: That was I do instead well that was back in 2018 long before this podcast ever kicked off into existence But TJ once did do that he boycott a game because each row is playing back in 2018
02:05 --> 02:32 [SPEAKER_01]: I will explain myself again if we picked up some new listener since that case so each room makes the roster in 2018 and they're playing him in a real role used the opening day left fielder and they said there was a point in that season they they set them up in a huge at that bottom of the ninth inning against the leverage relief or any struck out on a pitch like right down the middle and I remember texting loud this point
02:35 --> 02:36 [SPEAKER_01]: I can't do it anymore.
02:36 --> 02:40 [SPEAKER_01]: If they're not serious about winning is what I said, I'm not watching.
02:40 --> 02:45 [SPEAKER_01]: So I took the next two weeks off, didn't watch a single-ending a Mariners baseball.
02:46 --> 02:47 [SPEAKER_01]: After those two weeks are up.
02:49 --> 02:55 [SPEAKER_01]: each row quote unquote retired until the first two games of the year before the year after I'd say.
02:56 --> 03:03 [SPEAKER_00]: So in the work in Japan, well, in Japan, regardless, everybody listening, I need you to take this story this story and run with it as a headline.
03:03 --> 03:07 [SPEAKER_00]: Marine layer podcast host boycotts franchise icon.
03:08 --> 03:09 [SPEAKER_01]: It's not a good look for me.
03:10 --> 03:15 [SPEAKER_01]: Why I bring that up is because each year was starting in the outfield for the scrimmage on Wednesday.
03:17 --> 03:40 [SPEAKER_01]: that was amazing that was awesome did you expect anything else i didn't like if a team offered each row a contract to play major league baseball today at age 51 he'd do it would he be allowed to he's already in the hall of fame sure is there a rule that says you can i don't know no one's ever tried that before
03:41 --> 03:46 [SPEAKER_01]: You know, he'd be higher for five years, get into the Hall of Fame and then try and play again.
03:46 --> 03:48 [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, he'd be the first to do it, too.
03:49 --> 03:54 [SPEAKER_01]: Because most guys, five years retired don't want to play until each year, I think he's the only one.
03:55 --> 03:56 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, exactly.
03:57 --> 04:07 [SPEAKER_00]: Like if you listen to CC Sabathia talk, who was more than a deserved first ballot hall of Famer, incredible career, super outgoing personality, but if you listen to him talk about,
04:08 --> 04:14 [SPEAKER_00]: the way he is now, and if he misses the game, he always says not even a little bit.
04:14 --> 04:14 [SPEAKER_00]: Not at all.
04:15 --> 04:16 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't miss a single thing about the game.
04:16 --> 04:24 [SPEAKER_00]: I love playing when I played, love my career, love my time as a Yankee, and Cleveland, and Milwaukee everywhere, but I don't want to go back for a single second.
04:24 --> 04:25 [SPEAKER_00]: I miss none of it is what he said.
04:26 --> 04:33 [SPEAKER_01]: Meanwhile, each row shows up to the park probably early every morning to get his workout in and full uniform.
04:34 --> 04:34 [SPEAKER_00]: Crazy.
04:36 --> 04:37 [SPEAKER_00]: Look, I love each row.
04:37 --> 04:37 [SPEAKER_00]: I do.
04:38 --> 04:47 [SPEAKER_00]: But I feel like we can only spend so much time on each row in a in a moment in time where people are as geared up and as fired up for a postseason series as maybe ever.
04:47 --> 04:50 [SPEAKER_00]: This is like this may be the most freaking nice.
04:51 --> 04:59 [SPEAKER_00]: We're breaking the ice a little bit, but I will say this is as anticipated a series as we've had by far since starting this podcast.
04:59 --> 05:01 [SPEAKER_00]: This is a big weekend for everybody.
05:02 --> 05:08 [SPEAKER_01]: Before we actually get to the series, let's start with the biggest news on the Mariners side, not each row.
05:09 --> 05:09 [SPEAKER_01]: It's Brian Wu.
05:10 --> 05:11 [SPEAKER_01]: He threw a bullpen today.
05:11 --> 05:13 [SPEAKER_01]: Here on Thursday, prior to the skirmish they had.
05:14 --> 05:15 [SPEAKER_01]: He threw about 25 pitches.
05:16 --> 05:22 [SPEAKER_01]: But he wasn't giving any clear indication that he's gonna pitch in the first three games of this series.
05:22 --> 05:26 [SPEAKER_01]: Everything was very vague from what he was saying.
05:27 --> 05:31 [SPEAKER_01]: What was your first reaction when you heard what he had to say?
05:33 --> 05:41 [SPEAKER_00]: All you have to do is go follow us on social media at Marine Lairpot and look at our posts about it because if you want to know how I feel, I think it's fair to say.
05:42 --> 05:43 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think I'm out of line here.
05:43 --> 05:59 [SPEAKER_00]: When I say I was calm, cool, objective, collected and really, really did a stellar job feeling the people in on what they needed to know about the latest on Brian Wu with a pretty level head on straight as we enter the weekend against Detroit.
06:01 --> 06:04 [SPEAKER_00]: And if you've watched our post on social media, you know that's absolute fucking bullshit in a lie.
06:04 --> 06:06 [SPEAKER_00]: I dropped a massive F bomb to start that thing.
06:07 --> 06:08 [SPEAKER_00]: Not good, dude.
06:08 --> 06:10 [SPEAKER_00]: Not good at all.
06:10 --> 06:11 [SPEAKER_00]: Not good.
06:12 --> 06:14 [SPEAKER_01]: You need Brian Woodle Winner World Series.
06:14 --> 06:17 [SPEAKER_01]: That part is 100% factual.
06:18 --> 06:22 [SPEAKER_01]: But waiting until potentially game four game five for Brian Woodle pitch.
06:23 --> 06:27 [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think is an end of world scenario for that.
06:27 --> 06:32 [SPEAKER_01]: But before we actually get to this and are all of our reasoning here, any details we might have missed.
06:32 --> 06:38 [SPEAKER_01]: So I get 25 pitches today, Pete Woodworth stood in as the faux batter for 10 pitches of it.
06:38 --> 06:40 [SPEAKER_01]: He was working in his off-speed pitches.
06:40 --> 06:43 [SPEAKER_01]: He says he still needs to ramp up to game speed.
06:43 --> 06:50 [SPEAKER_01]: The quote that he said after that, got everyone going once he said, quote a week from now, hopefully will be in a better spot than where I'm at right now.
06:52 --> 06:57 [SPEAKER_01]: My question leading off that quote is, how much more is he throwing between now and a week from now?
06:59 --> 07:01 [SPEAKER_00]: You know what, my bigger question, honestly, is the map?
07:03 --> 07:06 [SPEAKER_00]: And this is a tough thing because we have to try to read between the lines of what he said.
07:06 --> 07:10 [SPEAKER_00]: But when Ryan loose says a week, does he mean an exact week?
07:10 --> 07:21 [SPEAKER_00]: Does he mean October the 9th or is he speaking in general terms where he means, okay, what I really meant was this upcoming Tuesday for game three, but it's five days, not seven.
07:22 --> 07:31 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, having to decipher his words isn't really fair because he can't pick up exactly what he meant from those quotes, from those words.
07:32 --> 07:46 [SPEAKER_00]: But if he does mean a week, if he really means seven days, that would mean at earliest he would be ready to go for game five and I don't know if this series gets to a game five in a good way or bad way.
07:47 --> 07:49 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, that's what happened to the nervous.
07:49 --> 07:53 [SPEAKER_00]: It fits in a good way than who cares any pitches in the ALCS.
07:53 --> 08:05 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that would be awesome, because if the Mariners end this thing in three to four games, they'll get some extra rest time, Brian, woo, get some extra rest time, and hopefully by then yes, he is ready, and can definitively start two games in the ALCS.
08:06 --> 08:15 [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to get to this more later, but the Mariners do have to go up against some guy named Scooball in this series, so they could use Brian Wu.
08:16 --> 08:24 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not going to discount that, but here's what I'm going to remind everybody when we go into the series without as of right now, Brian will.
08:25 --> 08:32 [SPEAKER_01]: Your other pictures, if you want to win a world series, which is the goal right now, your other pictures are going to need to perform well.
08:33 --> 08:40 [SPEAKER_01]: So they can go out there and win this series without Brian will that is a very good sign for how this postseason might go.
08:41 --> 08:48 [SPEAKER_01]: And if they go out there and they get shelved and frankly, you need your best starting pitcher, unlike the tigers who don't have any other pitchers.
08:48 --> 08:49 [SPEAKER_01]: We'll get and we'll get to that.
08:49 --> 08:52 [SPEAKER_01]: But they need Terri School to go win a world series.
08:52 --> 09:01 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm hoping this Mariners team, despite Brian Moobing their best starter, is deep enough where they don't necessarily need Brian Moob to win a round of the playoffs.
09:02 --> 09:05 [SPEAKER_00]: Is that fair?
09:05 --> 09:05 [SPEAKER_00]: It is.
09:06 --> 09:09 [SPEAKER_00]: If I'm going to look at the other side of that coin,
09:10 --> 09:12 [SPEAKER_00]: because I think it makes for some good discussion here.
09:13 --> 09:13 [SPEAKER_00]: I agree with you.
09:14 --> 09:31 [SPEAKER_00]: We know the mariners when they're at their best, that their rotation is as talented as anybody in baseball is anybody in this postseason field, but to play Devil's Advocate, Louise struggled massively on the road this year and has struggled against lefties and there's a couple of lefty mashers in this tiger's lineup.
09:32 --> 09:33 [SPEAKER_00]: George Kirby,
09:34 --> 09:40 [SPEAKER_00]: has looked really good over the last few starts, like Luis has, but also struggled massively on the road this year.
09:40 --> 09:45 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, Gilbert has struggled to work deep into games all of 2025, and part of that's because of an injury.
09:46 --> 09:55 [SPEAKER_00]: And unfortunately, Bryce Miller, who, if Wu's not going to pitch, Bryce is going to be starting a game in this series, Bryce Miller, unfortunately, hasn't
09:56 --> 10:00 [SPEAKER_00]: white look like peak brisemiller all year and also because of an injury.
10:00 --> 10:10 [SPEAKER_00]: Who has been your model of consistency, he's been your stopper, he's been your innings eater, he's been the guy with the lowest ERA, he was your all star, he's been everything.
10:11 --> 10:18 [SPEAKER_00]: It's look at the Mariners were to lose heaven for bed, George Kirby to a peck
10:18 --> 10:20 [SPEAKER_00]: strained to a minor pextrain.
10:20 --> 10:23 [SPEAKER_00]: It wouldn't be good, but for the way everybody's pitched this year.
10:24 --> 10:25 [SPEAKER_00]: You would be able to manage that more.
10:26 --> 10:32 [SPEAKER_00]: This is the guy you cannot afford to lose, and now you very well may have lost them.
10:32 --> 10:41 [SPEAKER_01]: They can't lose them for three rounds of the playoffs, but if he has to miss the first three games, I again don't think that is the end of the world.
10:42 --> 10:42 [SPEAKER_01]: I don't.
10:44 --> 10:47 [SPEAKER_01]: I would rather him be healthy and ready to go at a point where you very much need him.
10:48 --> 10:52 [SPEAKER_01]: Because let's be frank, the Mariners should beat the Tigers in this series.
10:52 --> 10:56 [SPEAKER_01]: Previews over guys, Mariners should beat the Tigers in this series.
10:59 --> 11:00 [SPEAKER_01]: Wither without Brian, ooh, they should be him.
11:01 --> 11:04 [SPEAKER_01]: because that's just kind of how the talent lines up with how you are.
11:05 --> 11:07 [SPEAKER_01]: I right now want Brian Wood to get healthy.
11:07 --> 11:14 [SPEAKER_01]: I know there are people including yourself who said, is this something he could just pitch through because it's the playoffs and everyone's hurting?
11:15 --> 11:17 [SPEAKER_01]: I think he would be pitching through it if he could.
11:18 --> 11:30 [SPEAKER_01]: I think so, because there's probably some other things that don't feel right, and maybe his arm hurts, maybe he's sore all the time, because it's just that time of year and he's got almost 200 innings on his right arm, right?
11:32 --> 11:37 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and when I ask that question this is not me saying because I have no information on this I'm not a doctor.
11:37 --> 11:38 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not in those training rooms.
11:38 --> 11:42 [SPEAKER_00]: I have no idea and this so this is not me saying oh get out there and pitch.
11:42 --> 11:43 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying that by any means
11:44 --> 11:53 [SPEAKER_00]: I was just simply asking earlier as a text back and forth between the two of us, thinking, is this the type of thing where you can manage it for a few more starts?
11:54 --> 12:08 [SPEAKER_00]: But you're right, and yes, I asked the question, but if he's not going to go out there and pitch in this series, and the answer to that question is no, that he just does not physically feel well enough to get out there and give him, give the team his best or even 80% of his best.
12:10 --> 12:18 [SPEAKER_01]: and I want him to be out there, like don't take anything I say about all the other starters needing to perform well as a, oh, they don't need Brian with.
12:18 --> 12:21 [SPEAKER_01]: They do need Brian will, they you always need your best players.
12:21 --> 12:26 [SPEAKER_01]: It's like if cow wasn't available for the series, yet you kind of need cow doesn't matter how deep the lineup is.
12:26 --> 12:30 [SPEAKER_01]: You need them, but there are ways you can sell it by saying like,
12:31 --> 12:37 [SPEAKER_01]: You, if you're gonna win the series anyways, you need good starts from Logan, you need good starts from George, you need good starts from Luis.
12:37 --> 12:38 [SPEAKER_01]: Brian will can only pitch.
12:39 --> 12:43 [SPEAKER_01]: Now in the playoffs, he can only start 25% of games at best.
12:44 --> 12:52 [SPEAKER_01]: And that's if he goes the full six, or five or six endings that he can go, let alone the shortened amount he's gonna get coming off this injury.
12:52 --> 12:53 [SPEAKER_01]: That's something you have to consider.
12:54 --> 12:54 [SPEAKER_01]: Or,
12:56 --> 12:59 [SPEAKER_01]: famed quick hooks in the plafs as we've been seen in this wildcard round.
12:59 --> 13:01 [SPEAKER_01]: We'll talk about the tigers in their quick hooks.
13:01 --> 13:03 [SPEAKER_01]: What have you only go three innings?
13:03 --> 13:03 [SPEAKER_01]: It's not really a start.
13:03 --> 13:05 [SPEAKER_01]: Then it turns into a bullpen game.
13:05 --> 13:11 [SPEAKER_01]: So you add, I'm not like, the Mariners need a good collective staff pitching performance to win the world series.
13:12 --> 13:14 [SPEAKER_01]: Brian who can only contribute so many of those innings.
13:15 --> 13:17 [SPEAKER_01]: Madison Baumgartner performances don't just pop up.
13:18 --> 13:23 [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I'm not expecting that to be what Brian was going to do this postseason.
13:25 --> 13:31 [SPEAKER_00]: No, but why can't he be some level of, oh, use max freed as an example.
13:31 --> 13:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Why can't he go do what max freed did the other night?
13:33 --> 13:35 [SPEAKER_00]: Where you go six and a third shot out.
13:35 --> 13:36 [SPEAKER_00]: That'd be valuable.
13:36 --> 13:38 [SPEAKER_00]: He's the guy that goes deep in a games.
13:38 --> 13:40 [SPEAKER_00]: You know who else should probably do that?
13:40 --> 13:41 [SPEAKER_00]: Logan Gilbert.
13:42 --> 13:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, and Kirby probably should too.
13:45 --> 14:08 [SPEAKER_01]: but they have not been the model of consistency that Wu has and and you know what's done have the luxury to have the other players that can go do that outside it tonight can't show it or tonight was unbelievable for the Yankees he was eight innings but the Yankees otherwise like the rest of the rotation if you asked them before the series they weren't expecting their other starters to do that
14:10 --> 14:10 [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
14:12 --> 14:29 [SPEAKER_00]: But, who's also been the one that's a model of consistency on the road, too, which even when we figured out he wasn't going to start game one of this series, we said ourselves okay, he's going to push back a couple of days, it's not the end of the world, he'll start game three in some ways we're talking ourselves through it and say, you know what that works out?
14:29 --> 14:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Get your best road starter to pitch on the road and in a pitcher's park on the road.
14:34 --> 14:37 [SPEAKER_00]: but now that may not even happen.
14:37 --> 14:54 [SPEAKER_00]: Nothing's for certain yet because the actual official wording on this is his status for the ALDS is uncertain, but TJ and I are sitting here talking through this because of the fact that he threw a 25-pitch bullpen five days roughly before he'd make a start which we thought would be in game three.
14:54 --> 14:58 [SPEAKER_00]: If that's the case of five-pitch bullpen slash stand-in hitters,
14:59 --> 15:06 [SPEAKER_00]: feels like a pretty big uphill climb to then all of a sudden five days later say you're throwing a hundred to a hundred and ten pitches in a playoff game.
15:07 --> 15:09 [SPEAKER_01]: It just doesn't even feel likely he's pitching in the DS.
15:10 --> 15:16 [SPEAKER_01]: How is he gonna ramp up to start and throw say 80 pitches against live hitters by next Friday?
15:17 --> 15:18 [SPEAKER_01]: That's eight days from now.
15:19 --> 15:20 [SPEAKER_00]: which is not good.
15:20 --> 15:26 [SPEAKER_00]: That's why, again, I'd say I've come down a little bit now, but this afternoon, I was spiraling a little bit.
15:26 --> 15:37 [SPEAKER_00]: This is why we're like reality's setting in that he may not be a part of there at ALDS, and I know you're supposed to beat the Tigers, but it's just as simple as, I want the best picture on the team pitching.
15:38 --> 15:39 [SPEAKER_00]: It's really that simple.
15:40 --> 15:42 [SPEAKER_01]: We've set it with the lineup, and I'll say it with the pitching staff.
15:42 --> 15:48 [SPEAKER_01]: This is why you build depth, because you never know when you're gonna need it, whether it be an August or an October.
15:49 --> 15:51 [SPEAKER_01]: And they're gonna need that dip to win.
15:51 --> 16:04 [SPEAKER_00]: I will say, I feel like if Wu's not gonna be on the ALDS roster, I feel like we might see our guy Logan Evans on the ALDS roster, because the price is gonna start, then you need a piggyback guy.
16:04 --> 16:05 [SPEAKER_01]: Exactly.
16:05 --> 16:08 [SPEAKER_01]: That would be pretty easy swap.
16:09 --> 16:14 [SPEAKER_01]: I don't, the problem is they would have to put Logan on the ALDS roster by Saturday.
16:14 --> 16:16 [SPEAKER_01]: They might just keep Wu on the roster,
16:17 --> 16:20 [SPEAKER_01]: as well as it can't add him back.
16:20 --> 16:22 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that's going to be the teller.
16:22 --> 16:28 [SPEAKER_00]: If they leave him off the roster, they're saying he is not healthy enough to to pitch in these five games.
16:28 --> 16:33 [SPEAKER_00]: If he's on the roster, that means that there's some optimism that he will.
16:33 --> 16:34 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
16:35 --> 16:36 [SPEAKER_00]: And that he could go in game.
16:37 --> 16:41 [SPEAKER_00]: Three feels short at this point, but I guess you never know.
16:41 --> 16:43 [SPEAKER_00]: Three, four, maybe five.
16:44 --> 16:45 [SPEAKER_00]: That would be the key.
16:45 --> 17:02 [SPEAKER_00]: But if you're more worried about the first four games and you are about a potential of Brian loose starting a game five if it even gets to that point, feels like to me in order it's going to go, well, I guess in some fashion, Gilbert, Kirby, Castillo, Bryce Miller, and then Logan Evans is going to be the piggyback eye on the bullpen.
17:03 --> 17:04 [SPEAKER_00]: Be quiet.
17:04 --> 17:07 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, look, I'm not going to make this an entire Logan Evans episode.
17:07 --> 17:29 [SPEAKER_00]: We've certainly done that in the past, which is fine, but I know for this, it's a, there is a big, big picture here, but I will say for Logan, that'd be pretty wild, that if he was not only activated onto the playoff roster, but then he's pitching in the ballpark that he grew up a massive fan of, because he didn't get to pitch into Troy in the Tiger series, in the playoff series, yeah, in the playoffs against his childhood team, that'd be pretty wild.
17:30 --> 17:34 [SPEAKER_01]: That'll be pretty crazy, but I'm, I'm gonna hope for his sick wild, they don't even have to play that game.
17:36 --> 17:39 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they're going to have to play one game in Detroit.
17:39 --> 17:44 [SPEAKER_00]: You don't know when you're going to need a piggyback guy, that's a fair point, but ideally you don't need one.
17:45 --> 17:49 [SPEAKER_01]: Ideally, you do your three starters shove for three games in a row.
17:49 --> 17:50 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, that'd be great.
17:52 --> 17:56 [SPEAKER_00]: If Wu is not going to pitch, you would assume Bryce Miller would be the last starter out of these four.
17:56 --> 17:57 [SPEAKER_00]: He'd go in game four.
17:58 --> 18:01 [SPEAKER_00]: So, who are you starting on the road?
18:02 --> 18:14 [SPEAKER_00]: Is it Kirby, do you take your chances with Kirby on the road just because Luis has really pitched well at home and he seems to be pretty comfortable there and you trust Kirby to go deeper into a game at this point than Luis does.
18:14 --> 18:24 [SPEAKER_01]: That's how I lean, especially because Kirby's stuff uptick can mitigate some road factors of his on.
18:26 --> 18:33 [SPEAKER_01]: So that would leave Gilbert Game 1, Castillo Game 2, Kirby Game 3, Bryce Game 4.
18:34 --> 18:35 [SPEAKER_00]: That's what I was thinking.
18:36 --> 18:42 [SPEAKER_01]: And if some miracle Brian who comes out with a Superman cape and pitches Game 5, back at T-Mobile Park, we'll blow the roof off.
18:43 --> 18:44 [SPEAKER_01]: Good!
18:45 --> 18:45 [SPEAKER_01]: Shut them down!
18:46 --> 18:46 [SPEAKER_01]: For eight!
18:47 --> 18:53 [SPEAKER_01]: If you guys have any other ideas on the rotation, we've talked to this playoff rotation for like two months now.
18:54 --> 18:56 [SPEAKER_01]: But if you have any more thoughts on it, you guys know what to do.
18:56 --> 18:57 [SPEAKER_01]: Just leave us a comment.
18:58 --> 19:05 [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I'd be curious to know, but I feel like the only question is if Kirby starts at home or Kesty has starts at home and game two.
19:05 --> 19:10 [SPEAKER_01]: Otherwise, the other one's pitching game through on the road, the other two book end, that rotation.
19:11 --> 19:14 [SPEAKER_01]: And then your bullpen, it's all hands on deck every single day.
19:15 --> 19:16 [SPEAKER_01]: Everyone's available every single day.
19:17 --> 19:20 [SPEAKER_00]: I think the big four are going to get a lot of work in the poses.
19:21 --> 19:26 [SPEAKER_00]: I think you're going to see Munoz, brash, Gabe's fire, and Edward Bazarto use a lot.
19:26 --> 19:32 [SPEAKER_01]: And I hope it works out better than 2022 date when the Mariners use their leverage guys a lot, because that bullpen.
19:32 --> 19:36 [SPEAKER_01]: The bullpen was so good in 2022 and then in the playoffs it was.
19:36 --> 19:39 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they ran out of gas.
19:40 --> 19:40 [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
19:40 --> 19:43 [SPEAKER_00]: Where now they're rested, so hopefully this helps.
19:44 --> 19:49 [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll see, you know what, let's just make the stamp here right now.
19:49 --> 19:58 [SPEAKER_00]: If the game is, if the game is within seven runs at any point, not just in this series, but in the postseason, no Carlos Vargas, no, no.
19:59 --> 20:01 [SPEAKER_00]: If the game is within seven runs, he's not in the game.
20:01 --> 20:03 [SPEAKER_01]: At this rate, he's going to pitch in game one.
20:03 --> 20:06 [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, no, no.
20:06 --> 20:10 [SPEAKER_01]: I also don't want him pitching in game one, or game two, or game three.
20:14 --> 20:16 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm maybe Dan listen to the pot and they'll take our advice.
20:16 --> 20:17 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
20:17 --> 20:17 [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe.
20:17 --> 20:21 [SPEAKER_01]: All right, I want to get to this preview of the Tigerster second.
20:21 --> 20:24 [SPEAKER_01]: There's a lot of really fun storyline to this, but before that, we have something really fun.
20:24 --> 20:28 [SPEAKER_01]: We want to tell you guys about from our friends over at Lids.
20:28 --> 20:33 [SPEAKER_01]: There's an event happening at the Lids store in Bellevue Square before the game.
20:33 --> 20:36 [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I guess technically during the game as well, the event is from 11 a.m.
20:38 --> 20:39 [SPEAKER_01]: to 9 p.m.
20:39 --> 20:40 [SPEAKER_01]: Saturday, October 4th.
20:41 --> 20:49 [SPEAKER_01]: There's a chance for you guys to win a top's one of one CalRally autographed card that is hidden in that lid store in the Belie Square store.
20:50 --> 20:52 [SPEAKER_01]: All you have to do guys is show up their in person.
20:53 --> 21:00 [SPEAKER_01]: Tell the people working there the code one of one and you'll be giving your chance to go win that pretty valuable card.
21:00 --> 21:00 [SPEAKER_01]: It's
21:02 --> 21:09 [SPEAKER_01]: Pretty pricey autographed one of one cow rally card again in store only Saturday October 4th from 11 a.m.
21:09 --> 21:10 [SPEAKER_01]: to 9 p.m.
21:10 --> 21:14 [SPEAKER_01]: And while you're in there, you can check out all the other cool things that lids has to offer.
21:14 --> 21:24 [SPEAKER_01]: They have retail prices on the Bowman chrome hobby boxes as opposed to paying the market price on the secondary market for those you get as you guys get a deal on that.
21:25 --> 21:30 [SPEAKER_01]: They've customized hats and the most fun part probably of all of it while will be there.
21:30 --> 21:33 [SPEAKER_01]: I think we'll plan to be there around 11 a.m.
21:33 --> 21:34 [SPEAKER_01]: maybe a little bit after 11 a.m.
21:34 --> 21:36 [SPEAKER_01]: and then for the hour after that.
21:36 --> 21:41 [SPEAKER_01]: So you guys want to come say hi to us before the game and talk about game one of the ALDS with us.
21:41 --> 21:43 [SPEAKER_01]: We will be there at the Bellevue Square lid store.
21:44 --> 21:46 [SPEAKER_01]: And if you see something in there that you really like, I
21:46 --> 22:00 [SPEAKER_01]: Make sure to text the code baseball to two nine zero one seven that's code baseball to two nine zero one seven and you'll get 20% off your next purchase at the Bellevue Square lid store this Saturday October 4th
22:01 --> 22:03 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, we're gonna be there hanging out for an hour, you guys.
22:03 --> 22:06 [SPEAKER_00]: So it works out really well because the mariners now start at 530.
22:07 --> 22:16 [SPEAKER_00]: So if during the morning, you guys wanna come, try to win an insanely cool Cal Raleigh card, and you just wanna come hang out with us.
22:17 --> 22:17 [SPEAKER_00]: We'll be there.
22:17 --> 22:19 [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna be there about from 11 to 12.
22:19 --> 22:23 [SPEAKER_00]: So if you guys come in in the morning around that time, yeah, we'll just be hanging out.
22:24 --> 22:24 [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna be talking ball.
22:25 --> 22:27 [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be, you were happy to take pictures.
22:27 --> 22:28 [SPEAKER_00]: We're happy to do really whatever.
22:29 --> 22:30 [SPEAKER_00]: So just come hang out with us.
22:30 --> 22:32 [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to be open in the pack of cards, too.
22:32 --> 22:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, we will.
22:33 --> 22:37 [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to do a fun box break card opening.
22:37 --> 22:38 [SPEAKER_00]: So we'll be fun.
22:38 --> 22:38 [SPEAKER_00]: Very fun.
22:39 --> 22:43 [SPEAKER_00]: And along with that, we'll just get one other plug in here, too, in terms of R playoff plan.
22:43 --> 22:45 [SPEAKER_00]: So there's a couple ways you can come hang out with us.
22:45 --> 22:49 [SPEAKER_00]: We will be at the Liz store at Bellevue Square Mall from 11 to 12 on Saturday.
22:51 --> 22:59 [SPEAKER_00]: And we are likely gonna be doing some playoff watch parties over with our friends at Queen Ambeirhal, at Queen Ambeirhal in Seattle.
22:59 --> 23:02 [SPEAKER_00]: So game three is gonna happen.
23:02 --> 23:07 [SPEAKER_00]: We're gonna do a watch party for game three over at Queen Ambeirhal, tentatively game four as well.
23:08 --> 23:10 [SPEAKER_00]: We'll get you guys more details on that as the days go on.
23:10 --> 23:14 [SPEAKER_00]: But at the very least, if you wanna plan ahead, game three, we're gonna be doing a watch party at Queen Ambeirhal.
23:15 --> 23:16 [SPEAKER_00]: Our friends over at Simply Seattle are gonna be there.
23:17 --> 23:18 [SPEAKER_00]: All the people from the hall are gonna be there.
23:19 --> 23:19 [SPEAKER_00]: It's gonna be a blast.
23:20 --> 23:22 [SPEAKER_00]: So we love to have you guys come out and watch with us.
23:23 --> 23:25 [SPEAKER_00]: Those playoff watch parties over at the hall locations.
23:26 --> 23:28 [SPEAKER_00]: They have been sick over the years.
23:28 --> 23:29 [SPEAKER_00]: And I think it's going to be more of the same in 25.
23:30 --> 23:30 [SPEAKER_00]: So coming out.
23:31 --> 23:39 [SPEAKER_01]: And if you also want to see us in action, I believe we're going to be recording our post game show from from the hall on Tuesday.
23:40 --> 23:41 [SPEAKER_01]: So you want to see.
23:41 --> 23:47 [SPEAKER_00]: There's probably going to be some screaming one way or another because he doesn't have a lost or they'll have one and we're going to be fired up.
23:47 --> 23:51 [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, if you want to see how the sausage is made, you can watch it right in person.
23:51 --> 23:53 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, so that'll be fun.
23:53 --> 23:54 [SPEAKER_01]: So hopefully you guys go to check that out.
23:54 --> 23:59 [SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully we have some some good stuff to be talking about on that Tuesday.
23:59 --> 23:59 [SPEAKER_01]: So that'll be good.
23:59 --> 24:01 [SPEAKER_01]: So we will keep you guys updated.
24:01 --> 24:03 [SPEAKER_01]: Stay tuned to our socials.
24:03 --> 24:05 [SPEAKER_01]: We'll have all the details for you as soon as they come in.
24:07 --> 24:07 [SPEAKER_01]: This is why it's the
24:11 --> 24:16 [SPEAKER_01]: Now to the preview of the series, we might be talking about on that Tuesday, the Detroit Tigers Lyle.
24:18 --> 24:19 [SPEAKER_01]: Let me ask you this to start.
24:20 --> 24:24 [SPEAKER_01]: Your impression of the Detroit Tigers is what?
24:26 --> 24:27 [SPEAKER_01]: Terriq Schubel.
24:30 --> 24:30 [SPEAKER_01]: Anything else?
24:31 --> 24:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they have a lot of names on that team.
24:33 --> 24:35 [SPEAKER_00]: Riley Green wasn't all stars.
24:35 --> 24:36 [SPEAKER_00]: Akima Kintree wasn't all star.
24:37 --> 24:42 [SPEAKER_00]: Obviously, we know Kerry Carpenter absolutely matches right handed pitching and he's torched the Mariners in the past.
24:43 --> 24:45 [SPEAKER_00]: So there's a lot of names on this team.
24:46 --> 24:46 [SPEAKER_00]: But...
24:48 --> 24:53 [SPEAKER_00]: you have been very much on the train of, I want the Mariners to face the Tigers, not Cleveland.
24:54 --> 24:55 [SPEAKER_00]: And you want our little battle here.
24:56 --> 25:02 [SPEAKER_00]: You want our little battle that we were going back and forth about for days about, no, I want the Guardians and no, you want the Tigers.
25:02 --> 25:04 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, you were adamant about playing Detroit.
25:04 --> 25:05 [SPEAKER_00]: You get your wish.
25:06 --> 25:10 [SPEAKER_00]: You, the Mariners are now gonna play the team that you felt like was the easier matchup.
25:11 --> 25:16 [SPEAKER_00]: And just off, first impression, both from the series and just digging into some of the numbers.
25:18 --> 25:20 [SPEAKER_00]: Look, they're no, they're no murderers row.
25:20 --> 25:23 [SPEAKER_00]: They were not inspiring in that Guardian series at all.
25:24 --> 25:29 [SPEAKER_00]: And they are a team that is on the wrong end of momentum and have been really all of the second half.
25:29 --> 25:31 [SPEAKER_00]: So I would say those are my takeaways.
25:31 --> 25:32 [SPEAKER_00]: Terracskub was really good.
25:33 --> 25:37 [SPEAKER_00]: But it's a team trending in the wrong direction and maybe running on fumes.
25:38 --> 25:38 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just gonna be direct.
25:39 --> 25:40 [SPEAKER_01]: The Tigers are mid.
25:42 --> 25:43 [SPEAKER_01]: What are the Tigers good at?
25:43 --> 25:46 [SPEAKER_01]: Tell me, besides Terracskub, what are they good at?
25:48 --> 26:13 [SPEAKER_00]: not a lot if you look at them in the second half of the year because that's who they are now the tigers of the first half have not shown up in a long time and the tigers of the second half when you look at their team ops when you look at run scored when you look at eRA strikeouts per nine all of it all the important categories on the offensive and pitching side of the ball in the second half they're not showing much of anything
26:17 --> 26:39 [SPEAKER_00]: in the second half is a team by OPS their bottom half and more like bottom third er and case per nine it's more the same story and the bullpen their bullpen to your exact point mid in the second half they're right in the middle of the league in the array there's nothing they're really thrive in it and it ticked down even more in in September and September they are bottom third in everything
26:40 --> 26:45 [SPEAKER_01]: ERA, WRC+, run the scored, bullpen production, starting pitching production.
26:46 --> 26:54 [SPEAKER_01]: Territ Schoobl is such an impactful name that I think it distracts everyone from the rest of this tiger's team or if you actually look at it, just find me a strength, are they good base running team?
26:54 --> 27:00 [SPEAKER_01]: MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM
27:01 --> 27:03 [SPEAKER_01]: are they like overly athletic?
27:04 --> 27:04 [SPEAKER_01]: No.
27:05 --> 27:06 [SPEAKER_01]: Do they have a deep bullpen?
27:07 --> 27:07 [SPEAKER_01]: Not really.
27:07 --> 27:11 [SPEAKER_01]: They're bullpen production for the years roughly the same as the Mariners.
27:12 --> 27:22 [SPEAKER_01]: But the difference is the Mariners have even with Brian Wu's injury, potentially four horses in their rotation that they can on any given day go out there and get them an A plus start.
27:23 --> 27:40 [SPEAKER_01]: The Tigers, meanwhile, in the series against the Guardians, Tarrick Scooble gives them a 100th percentile performance in game one, and just shreds up what I will say truthfully while, was a AAA lineup with a Hall of Famer in the middle, because that's what the Guardians are.
27:41 --> 27:42 [SPEAKER_01]: a triple A lineup.
27:43 --> 27:46 [SPEAKER_01]: So Terrax school did what he should have done and tore them up.
27:46 --> 27:53 [SPEAKER_01]: The rest of that tiger's starting rotation against a bad, bad, bad, bad, bad lineup.
27:54 --> 27:57 [SPEAKER_01]: Case in my is went three innings in game two.
27:58 --> 27:58 [SPEAKER_01]: Three innings.
28:00 --> 28:03 [SPEAKER_01]: Jack Flarety went four and two thirds in game three.
28:03 --> 28:04 [SPEAKER_01]: I get it elimination game.
28:04 --> 28:07 [SPEAKER_01]: You you're quick trigger on anything that happens.
28:08 --> 28:09 [SPEAKER_01]: doesn't feel like to me, H.A.
28:09 --> 28:19 [SPEAKER_01]: Hinch has a whole lot of trust in his other starters, given that they pulled up the plug that quickly and games that matter this much.
28:20 --> 28:40 [SPEAKER_01]: that tells me and then guess what for game one coming up if they're going to keep terror scooble on normal rest they're going to have to either throw resoulson or catermontaro in game one and you know what that turns into that turns into a bullpen game for the tiger's game one does a team of the strength throw bullpen game game one no
28:40 --> 28:47 [SPEAKER_00]: not really and and the reports already seem to be that the tigers are probably going with quote-unquote a bullpen game in game one.
28:47 --> 29:07 [SPEAKER_00]: They could start Troy Milton in that game too who's been good in a pretty short sample but the point being he is not worked deep in the games he is not going to work deep into a game so yeah they're going to have to staff that thing whether it's catermontera whether it's Milton whether it's Olson they're going to have to staff it together so or sorry what am I saying Olson Olson's on the 60
29:11 --> 29:15 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, it's probably going to be catering to my hero or Troy Melton.
29:15 --> 29:17 [SPEAKER_00]: So or maybe both of them.
29:17 --> 29:31 [SPEAKER_00]: The idea there is Those are guys you've got to go hit because and and if you're the Mariners you've got to win that game one at home Crazy crowd at the roof's going to be blowing off that place and you know who's sitting in the wings for game two
29:32 --> 29:40 [SPEAKER_00]: you can't run into an issue here where you somehow lose that game one likely with Logan on the mound against the bullpen day with scuba going in game two.
29:40 --> 29:41 [SPEAKER_00]: You've got to go win game one.
29:41 --> 29:44 [SPEAKER_00]: You can't put the risk of going back to Detroit down two out at hand.
29:46 --> 29:48 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm with you on that, a game one is very important.
29:48 --> 29:51 [SPEAKER_01]: Just given the matchup, let alone who is pitching the day after.
29:52 --> 30:01 [SPEAKER_01]: If a team's throwing a bullpen game at you and you've had a five days off and you're starting Logan Gilbert on the mound with your line up that laps the Cleveland line up.
30:01 --> 30:05 [SPEAKER_01]: That's probably twice as good as the Cleveland line up if not more, yeah, you should win.
30:06 --> 30:07 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, yeah, right.
30:08 --> 30:10 [SPEAKER_00]: But to your point, this Tiger's team,
30:12 --> 30:17 [SPEAKER_00]: Their identity is essentially tarry scoobles an absolute dog in the best picture on the planet and the rest of the roster.
30:18 --> 30:18 [UNKNOWN]: Eh!
30:19 --> 30:19 [SPEAKER_00]: Very eh!
30:20 --> 30:26 [SPEAKER_00]: Even when you look at the stars of the team, Zach McKinsey, who is an all star this year, he's not one of the stars, but he did make an all star game this year.
30:27 --> 30:29 [SPEAKER_00]: OPS was under 700 in the second half.
30:29 --> 30:31 [SPEAKER_00]: Just stay in on this second half theme here.
30:32 --> 30:35 [SPEAKER_00]: Riley Green, OPS under 700 in the second half.
30:36 --> 30:40 [SPEAKER_00]: They're best bats outside a carry carpenter who had a solid second half.
30:41 --> 30:42 [SPEAKER_00]: didn't really hit in the second half.
30:43 --> 30:45 [SPEAKER_01]: But Carrie Carpenter just platoons.
30:45 --> 30:49 [SPEAKER_01]: So there's no, there's nothing that's gonna give him as much of a slump.
30:49 --> 30:50 [SPEAKER_01]: He only faces rightease.
30:50 --> 30:52 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, but how many lefties do they learn or have?
30:53 --> 30:55 [SPEAKER_01]: Only two, Caleb Ferguson and Gabe Spire.
30:56 --> 30:58 [SPEAKER_00]: You want, you want to throw money down on something?
30:58 --> 30:59 [SPEAKER_00]: Throw money down.
30:59 --> 31:04 [SPEAKER_00]: That Gabe Spire is gonna be facing Carrie Carpenter a lot, latent games in this series.
31:04 --> 31:05 [SPEAKER_00]: Carrie Carpenter is coming up.
31:06 --> 31:11 [SPEAKER_00]: When the bullpen's already been deployed, you best believe Gave Spire's going in there against Kerry Carbender.
31:13 --> 31:20 [SPEAKER_01]: You have even with school throwing games, if we're mapping it out like this, games 2 and 5 in the series.
31:20 --> 31:25 [SPEAKER_01]: First of all, the goal is to not play game 5, the goal is to win the series before you get to game 5.
31:26 --> 31:30 [SPEAKER_01]: But even in that case, Terrix School will be throwing on short rest.
31:31 --> 31:33 [SPEAKER_01]: The Mariners have beaten Terrix School twice this season.
31:34 --> 31:37 [SPEAKER_01]: I know you say you don't want to play with fire, but at some point,
31:38 --> 31:50 [SPEAKER_01]: Terrix school will might hit a wall here, in terms of innings, in terms of pressure, in terms of the fact he's just facing a flatly better line up than he would face anywhere in the American League right now, outside of the Toronto Blu-Jays.
31:51 --> 31:56 [SPEAKER_00]: I know this is stupid math, and maybe this is ASU logic here from a dumb person, but
31:58 --> 32:03 [SPEAKER_00]: I just can't get out of my head the fact that Scooball really got hit around twice by the Mariners.
32:03 --> 32:06 [SPEAKER_00]: I guess the first time it wasn't really hit around, but they did beat them.
32:06 --> 32:10 [SPEAKER_00]: Second time they faced them when they were in Detroit over the summer, they did hit them around.
32:11 --> 32:15 [SPEAKER_00]: This again, this is probably stupid logic, but how many times are you going to be to guy like that?
32:16 --> 32:18 [SPEAKER_00]: When does your luck run out again, somebody like that?
32:18 --> 32:22 [SPEAKER_00]: Is he not just going to figure it out and absolutely carve it up the third time?
32:22 --> 32:32 [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe you're right that he runs out of gas, but your mind seems to be going more there with Scooble, and all the wear and tear on that arm already this year.
32:32 --> 32:39 [SPEAKER_00]: My mind more goes to shocker, the pessimistic view, where I say how many more times can the Mariners get to this guy?
32:40 --> 32:41 [SPEAKER_01]: two things off of that.
32:41 --> 32:49 [SPEAKER_01]: Number one, I'm just, I'm just not a believer that one singular picture when I look at the rest of the roster like this can carry a team to victory.
32:50 --> 32:54 [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, again, look at this against the Cleveland Guardians and that line up.
32:55 --> 32:58 [SPEAKER_01]: It took a 100th percentile terrible effort to get to game three.
33:00 --> 33:00 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, 100th.
33:01 --> 33:03 [SPEAKER_01]: Terrix, he's not going to be any better than that.
33:03 --> 33:07 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, Terrix Google's made four career posties and starts, including that one this week.
33:08 --> 33:10 [SPEAKER_00]: The re of them have been utterly dominant.
33:11 --> 33:19 [SPEAKER_00]: Last year he went six shot out against the Astros, then seven shot out against the Guardians, and then this year, seven and two thirds of one run ball a few days ago against the Guardians.
33:20 --> 33:23 [SPEAKER_00]: But to be fair to your point, he did get
33:24 --> 33:30 [SPEAKER_00]: hit around and lit up in one of those four starts last year in Cleveland, he gave up five and six innings.
33:30 --> 33:37 [SPEAKER_00]: So it's not impossible to get to school in the playoffs, but he's not exactly a guy that seems to crack under the pressure either.
33:38 --> 33:44 [SPEAKER_01]: If you remember that last series, the Mariners played against Terry's school, well, there were some different names in the lineup that day.
33:45 --> 33:47 [SPEAKER_01]: Then there are currently that will roll out this weekend, are there not?
33:49 --> 33:51 [SPEAKER_00]: Trivia time for everybody listening.
33:51 --> 33:57 [SPEAKER_00]: Yes, there was to answer your question, but even before that, Scoobles first started the year, back in early April in Seattle.
33:58 --> 34:00 [SPEAKER_00]: You remember who hit a home run of them?
34:02 --> 34:02 [SPEAKER_00]: Is it Demo?
34:03 --> 34:04 [SPEAKER_00]: It was Demo.
34:04 --> 34:04 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
34:05 --> 34:05 [SPEAKER_00]: Demo.
34:06 --> 34:07 [SPEAKER_00]: He ain't here anymore.
34:08 --> 34:10 [SPEAKER_00]: He was over 130 against lefties for three months.
34:10 --> 34:11 [SPEAKER_00]: So yeah, he's not here anymore.
34:11 --> 34:14 [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think that was that on Friday.
34:14 --> 34:15 [SPEAKER_01]: He started against the Mariners.
34:15 --> 34:16 [SPEAKER_00]: It was.
34:17 --> 34:18 [SPEAKER_00]: We were on the plane to Atlanta while that.
34:18 --> 34:19 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
34:19 --> 34:22 [SPEAKER_00]: That outing was going on and we just assumed, well, we're going to be without Wi-Fi.
34:22 --> 34:23 [SPEAKER_00]: We're going to land in Atlanta.
34:23 --> 34:26 [SPEAKER_00]: Check our phones and it was going to be a seven nothing tigers went and we were wrong.
34:26 --> 34:29 [SPEAKER_00]: The Mariners hit scuba in this game.
34:36 --> 34:42 [SPEAKER_01]: Well, Julio hit the home runoff of him using the coldest stretch of his entire season.
34:43 --> 34:45 [SPEAKER_01]: Let's say the lineup looks a little different now.
34:45 --> 34:46 [SPEAKER_01]: The terrible be facing.
34:48 --> 34:48 [SPEAKER_00]: It's probably right.
34:49 --> 34:49 [SPEAKER_00]: It does.
34:51 --> 34:51 [SPEAKER_00]: Does look a little bit up.
34:52 --> 34:57 [SPEAKER_01]: You're something else I think that is in the Mariners favor that favors their offense and not against Terrix specifically.
34:58 --> 35:00 [SPEAKER_01]: Actually, no, sorry, favors the Mariners pitching staff.
35:01 --> 35:02 [SPEAKER_01]: The Tigers are not great against Rites.
35:03 --> 35:05 [SPEAKER_01]: And the Mariners have a lot of Rites.
35:06 --> 35:08 [SPEAKER_01]: It's going to be 95% of their earnings this series.
35:09 --> 35:12 [SPEAKER_01]: If not, this series, if not more, are going to be thrown by RiteHanders.
35:13 --> 35:19 [SPEAKER_01]: And the Tigers line up against Rites is 19th and WRC+, 19th and run scored, 21st and OPS, 28th and strikeout rate.
35:23 --> 35:26 [SPEAKER_01]: They have two hitters who you should really fear.
35:26 --> 35:33 [SPEAKER_01]: Fear, I guess fear is a loose term that you should worry about as lefty hitters against righty throwers.
35:34 --> 35:35 [SPEAKER_01]: The rest of them.
35:36 --> 35:38 [SPEAKER_01]: Not, not doing it at all.
35:38 --> 35:40 [SPEAKER_01]: It's Riley Green and Kerry Carbender.
35:40 --> 35:45 [SPEAKER_01]: But Riley Green's not been as good in the second half, and they'll carry Carbender or probably is the one.
35:45 --> 35:48 [SPEAKER_01]: Kerry Carbender can make a break this series for the Tigers.
35:48 --> 35:54 [SPEAKER_01]: Seriously, if he goes off against all the Mariners righty arms, then the Mariners might have some trouble.
35:54 --> 36:01 [SPEAKER_01]: If they can shut him down, Riley Green's like a 30% strikeout rate guy, you elevate the stuff,
36:02 --> 36:04 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, you exploit the holes in his swing.
36:05 --> 36:07 [SPEAKER_01]: He's not carrying the tiger's offense by himself.
36:08 --> 36:09 [SPEAKER_01]: He hasn't done that.
36:09 --> 36:10 [SPEAKER_01]: All right.
36:12 --> 36:17 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, everybody listening is seeing what the real identity of this team is, because it's true.
36:17 --> 36:21 [SPEAKER_00]: The whole identity of this team is Tarak Scooble, and I guess if Kary Carpenter hits Rites,
36:23 --> 36:27 [SPEAKER_01]: One other note for their lineup, Colt Keith might be back for this series.
36:27 --> 36:28 [SPEAKER_01]: He has rib cage inflammation.
36:28 --> 36:29 [SPEAKER_01]: He's been out since mid-September.
36:30 --> 36:33 [SPEAKER_01]: He's another guy who hits Rites pretty decently, but he hasn't been healthy.
36:34 --> 36:37 [SPEAKER_01]: So we'll see if he ends up getting activated and coming back.
36:38 --> 36:45 [SPEAKER_01]: But even in the advantage that the Tigers have, if they left these up in the Mariners have Rites on the Mount, I still feel pretty good.
36:46 --> 36:51 [SPEAKER_01]: I just don't see how the Tigers are going to outscore the Mariners this series.
36:52 --> 36:56 [SPEAKER_01]: how the Mariners line up with them pitching wise, defense wise, and hitting wise.
36:58 --> 37:00 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, Turgut talked on in the second half.
37:00 --> 37:02 [SPEAKER_00]: He's got a 739 OPS for the second half.
37:02 --> 37:02 [SPEAKER_00]: Hit 240.
37:02 --> 37:04 [SPEAKER_00]: He's been pre-consistent all year.
37:04 --> 37:05 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, he's been okay.
37:06 --> 37:06 [SPEAKER_00]: It's funny.
37:07 --> 37:11 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we didn't nothing but root our tails off for that guy forever.
37:12 --> 37:12 [SPEAKER_00]: In this series,
37:14 --> 37:16 [SPEAKER_00]: Go ahead and go over 15 with 15 K's Torque, thanks.
37:17 --> 37:22 [SPEAKER_00]: But it is funny, he, I'm not saying it can't still happen.
37:22 --> 37:27 [SPEAKER_00]: He still decently young, but man, when we watch him in college, we were like, this is the greatest hit or we've ever seen.
37:27 --> 37:28 [SPEAKER_00]: This is insane.
37:29 --> 37:41 [SPEAKER_00]: And I thought, I thought it was a shoe in, an absolute shoe in that when he got to the show, he was going to be a perennial all star, hitting 280 to 300 every year, and honestly, when a couple of home run titles.
37:43 --> 37:44 [SPEAKER_00]: hasn't happened.
37:44 --> 37:49 [SPEAKER_00]: Here we are and we haven't even mentioned Torx name until I just wanted to bring him up because we want to tie it back to ASU.
37:49 --> 37:56 [SPEAKER_00]: He is the fourth or fifth most imposing bat in this lineup, which is not what he was drafted to be.
37:58 --> 37:59 [SPEAKER_01]: Do you get anything else on the Tigers?
37:59 --> 38:11 [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, my overall general premise is I don't think the Tigers do anything better than the Mariners and even with Brian Wu being out, you need good starts from your other four main starters in this rotation.
38:11 --> 38:20 [SPEAKER_01]: And if you get them against the worst line up you will see going forward, then you should be very, you should be fine and you should win the series.
38:20 --> 38:25 [SPEAKER_01]: Like if everything happens that should happen for you to want to win the world series, you're winning this series.
38:28 --> 38:30 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you convinced me a little bit in this episode.
38:31 --> 38:37 [SPEAKER_00]: I feel a little bit better talking this through now in real time about how they shape up against Tigers.
38:37 --> 38:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Then I probably did once the Tigers won this series on Thursday afternoon because all I can think about once they won Thursday afternoon is so great, scoobled twice.
38:45 --> 38:49 [SPEAKER_00]: You're gonna have to win all three games and he doesn't pitch or not force it to a game five.
38:50 --> 38:51 [SPEAKER_00]: I feel a little better now.
38:52 --> 38:55 [SPEAKER_00]: I still don't like their chances going against Terrix scooble, but,
38:56 --> 39:01 [SPEAKER_00]: The series could just go four games where you face them in game two, you could hypothetically win games one, three, and four.
39:02 --> 39:04 [SPEAKER_00]: You could end up hitting them if you get them on the right day.
39:05 --> 39:11 [SPEAKER_00]: And you're right that just talking this through and looking at what the tigers have done in the second half of the year, there's just, there's not a ton there.
39:11 --> 39:11 [SPEAKER_00]: No.
39:13 --> 39:19 [SPEAKER_01]: And we're all, I just don't also like just assuming they're going to lose to Terrix Hubel.
39:19 --> 39:22 [SPEAKER_01]: Do you think the tigers are just assuming they're going to lose to Logan Gilbert tomorrow?
39:23 --> 39:24 [SPEAKER_01]: No, but it's good.
39:24 --> 39:24 [SPEAKER_00]: No, but it's good.
39:24 --> 39:25 [SPEAKER_00]: Logan Gilbert is.
39:25 --> 39:28 [SPEAKER_00]: As good as Logan Gilbert is, he's not Terrix Hubel.
39:29 --> 39:30 [SPEAKER_00]: Terrix Hubel is pretty good last year.
39:30 --> 39:32 [SPEAKER_00]: Terrix Hubel is the best pitcher on the planet.
39:33 --> 39:33 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
39:33 --> 39:34 [SPEAKER_01]: Okay.
39:34 --> 39:35 [SPEAKER_01]: Brian Lewis starting tomorrow.
39:35 --> 39:37 [SPEAKER_01]: I think they're just assuming they're going to lose.
39:39 --> 39:40 [SPEAKER_00]: probably not.
39:40 --> 39:42 [SPEAKER_00]: It's just such a different animal with scuba man.
39:42 --> 39:45 [SPEAKER_00]: He's, I mean, you saw what he did in that Guardian series.
39:45 --> 39:47 [SPEAKER_00]: You've watched him over the last three years.
39:47 --> 39:50 [SPEAKER_00]: This is 101 with paint and the change up like everything.
39:51 --> 39:54 [SPEAKER_01]: The top line starters have been unbelievable this postseason so far.
39:54 --> 39:55 [SPEAKER_01]: Crochet was really good.
39:55 --> 39:56 [SPEAKER_01]: Gavin Williams was really good.
39:57 --> 39:58 [SPEAKER_01]: Yamamoto was really good.
39:58 --> 40:02 [SPEAKER_01]: Now it pitched the longest postseason start of his career for the Dodgers.
40:02 --> 40:05 [SPEAKER_01]: The only one who's stunk was Hunter Green, but I think he was tipping his pitches.
40:06 --> 40:10 [SPEAKER_01]: So, like all the top level guys throwing gas have been, yeah, you're right, have been, have been great.
40:11 --> 40:13 [SPEAKER_01]: But not everyone can win.
40:15 --> 40:16 [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe we should have started with this, too.
40:17 --> 40:25 [SPEAKER_00]: In the Tigers deciding game over the Guardians in a winner-go-home game 3, they did have Wensiel Perez hitting 3rd.
40:25 --> 40:30 [SPEAKER_01]: They didn't even start with that.
40:30 --> 40:31 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know how, but they did.
40:34 --> 40:35 [SPEAKER_01]: I like the Mariners' chances of this series.
40:35 --> 40:38 [SPEAKER_01]: If I'm gonna guess the Mariners win the series in four games.
40:40 --> 40:41 [SPEAKER_01]: Do they win the school?
40:41 --> 40:41 [SPEAKER_01]: We'll start?
40:41 --> 40:41 [SPEAKER_01]: Yes or no?
40:44 --> 40:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Fuck it.
40:44 --> 40:45 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, they do.
40:45 --> 40:46 [SPEAKER_00]: Wow.
40:46 --> 40:50 [SPEAKER_00]: They lose a different game, so they win the first two, let's say, in your mind.
40:50 --> 40:52 [SPEAKER_00]: Lose game three and Detroit, but then win game four.
40:53 --> 40:55 [SPEAKER_01]: Let me throw this hypothetical out at you.
40:56 --> 40:59 [SPEAKER_01]: Terrac School throw seven shadow against the Mariners in Game 2.
40:59 --> 41:02 [SPEAKER_01]: George Kirby counters an also throw seven shot out.
41:03 --> 41:04 [SPEAKER_01]: Two and a half left, who has the advantage?
41:04 --> 41:07 [SPEAKER_01]: We said that would be Louise, but we can use Louise for this example.
41:07 --> 41:09 [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, fine, Louise throw seven shot out.
41:09 --> 41:11 [SPEAKER_00]: Who's got the advantage then?
41:12 --> 41:14 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, you're right, because then the Mariners would turn to...
41:16 --> 41:18 [SPEAKER_00]: Spire, brash, moonios, well, it depends who's up in the lineup.
41:18 --> 41:25 [SPEAKER_00]: They'd save Gabe for the lefties for Green and Carpenter, but some level, those three guys, maybe you throw a bizarre to into that, too.
41:26 --> 41:32 [SPEAKER_00]: And then with the Tigers, you get, well, vest and, uh, brand-herter and Tyler Holtton.
41:33 --> 41:34 [SPEAKER_00]: It's not exactly the same.
41:34 --> 41:36 [SPEAKER_01]: Now, I feel pretty good about that.
41:37 --> 41:41 [SPEAKER_01]: So, it comes down to your guys just doing what they should.
41:41 --> 41:44 [SPEAKER_01]: Like, starters be dogs, like they had to be anyway.
41:46 --> 41:51 [SPEAKER_00]: It is amazing talking this through that it's not even so much the tigers living rent free in my head.
41:51 --> 41:53 [SPEAKER_00]: It's Terrix school, leaving living rent free in my head.
41:54 --> 42:00 [SPEAKER_00]: So when you say their identity is Terrix school, which is what you said pre-recording and I think we've already said it, it is very true.
42:01 --> 42:02 [SPEAKER_00]: That is their identity.
42:02 --> 42:05 [SPEAKER_01]: If you want to all book guarantee a series when all you need to do is be Terrix school once.
42:06 --> 42:07 [SPEAKER_01]: I think.
42:08 --> 42:18 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, if you were to win game one and then actually sneak out of win against them in game two, I mean, one you'd be up to nothing, but two, you'd just be at school, how are the guardians gonna come back from that?
42:18 --> 42:19 [SPEAKER_00]: They would be depleted.
42:20 --> 42:21 [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, they're already kind of depleted.
42:21 --> 42:25 [SPEAKER_00]: Doesn't not feel like this team, even school aside running on fumes?
42:25 --> 42:26 [SPEAKER_00]: Yes.
42:26 --> 42:30 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, we talked about they won two of three in the wildcard series.
42:30 --> 42:31 [SPEAKER_00]: They won a series.
42:32 --> 42:41 [SPEAKER_00]: But this is still a team that absolutely pummeled back to Earth and collapsed in the second half, blowing a 15-and-a-half game lead and a 10-game lead in September.
42:42 --> 42:49 [SPEAKER_01]: To, they got swept by the, in September, they got swept by the Braves and lost series to the White Sox, Mets and Marlins.
42:50 --> 42:50 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
42:51 --> 42:54 [SPEAKER_01]: Tarrick Scoob will pitch some of those games by the way.
42:54 --> 42:54 [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
42:55 --> 42:55 [SPEAKER_01]: Yep, you did.
42:57 --> 42:58 [SPEAKER_00]: So, it's gonna be interesting.
43:00 --> 43:01 [SPEAKER_00]: Do you have anything else on Chagras?
43:03 --> 43:04 [SPEAKER_01]: No, nothing.
43:04 --> 43:04 [SPEAKER_01]: I've got anything else.
43:05 --> 43:05 [SPEAKER_01]: Mariners and four.
43:05 --> 43:06 [SPEAKER_00]: All right.
43:06 --> 43:07 [SPEAKER_00]: I'll go Mariners and four too.
43:07 --> 43:09 [SPEAKER_00]: I'll say they lose the scuba start, but Mariners and four.
43:10 --> 43:11 [SPEAKER_00]: I do have one more very important.
43:11 --> 43:11 [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, wait.
43:11 --> 43:12 [SPEAKER_00]: Hold up.
43:13 --> 43:14 [SPEAKER_00]: Paul Sewell's on the Tigers.
43:14 --> 43:15 [SPEAKER_00]: We didn't even say that.
43:15 --> 43:15 [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah.
43:15 --> 43:16 [SPEAKER_00]: Is he going to throw?
43:16 --> 43:17 [SPEAKER_00]: Did he throw?
43:18 --> 43:18 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know.
43:18 --> 43:19 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, he hasn't been very good.
43:19 --> 43:21 [SPEAKER_00]: No, he's not been very good.
43:21 --> 43:21 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
43:22 --> 43:23 [SPEAKER_00]: Let me do a quick read here.
43:23 --> 43:27 [SPEAKER_00]: And I have one very, very important thing to do before we wrap up.
43:27 --> 43:28 [SPEAKER_00]: It's actually very important.
43:28 --> 43:28 [SPEAKER_00]: So.
43:30 --> 43:30 [SPEAKER_00]: Just give us a second.
43:31 --> 43:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Let's talk to you guys about our friends over at Pagachus Pub 85.
43:34 --> 43:42 [SPEAKER_00]: You guys know, it's an awesome spot to go hang out if you need a spot to watch the games, if you need a spot to watch the NFL, college football, really any sports-related activities.
43:42 --> 43:44 [SPEAKER_00]: It's all there because there's 20 TVs in that place.
43:44 --> 43:50 [SPEAKER_00]: There's also great food and awesome, happy hour specials and those deals are 2-6 p.m.
43:51 --> 43:52 [SPEAKER_00]: Monday through Friday.
43:52 --> 43:53 [SPEAKER_00]: Drinks are 3-4 bucks, you guys.
43:53 --> 43:54 [SPEAKER_00]: Those are awesome deals.
43:55 --> 43:58 [SPEAKER_00]: $3 and $4 happy hour drinks Monday through Friday, 2 to 6 p.m.
43:58 --> 44:01 [SPEAKER_00]: Go catch all that over at Pagaches Pub 85 in Kirkland.
44:02 --> 44:06 [SPEAKER_00]: I have one very important thing to do before we conclude this podcast.
44:07 --> 44:08 [SPEAKER_00]: And I need everybody to listen up.
44:09 --> 44:10 [SPEAKER_00]: I need everybody to channel it.
44:10 --> 44:11 [SPEAKER_00]: I need everybody to buy in.
44:11 --> 44:12 [SPEAKER_00]: I know people have already.
44:13 --> 44:14 [SPEAKER_00]: We haven't done it all week on the podcast.
44:14 --> 44:16 [SPEAKER_00]: And we're probably much delayed to doing so.
44:17 --> 44:18 [SPEAKER_00]: But we got to start doing it a lot.
44:18 --> 44:18 [SPEAKER_00]: We're ready.
44:20 --> 44:22 [SPEAKER_00]: Mr. Ranger!
44:23 --> 44:23 [SPEAKER_00]: Woo!
44:23 --> 44:25 [SPEAKER_00]: Come on!
44:25 --> 44:26 [SPEAKER_00]: Let's do it!
44:27 --> 44:28 [SPEAKER_00]: Why are you doing this?
44:28 --> 44:31 [SPEAKER_00]: It just doesn't sound as good when we sing it on the podcast.
44:31 --> 44:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we can't sing.
44:33 --> 44:36 [SPEAKER_00]: Of course it doesn't sing as good as it sounds as good as kid cutty.
44:36 --> 44:36 [SPEAKER_00]: What are you talking about?
44:37 --> 44:39 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, we're gonna sing it at the ballpark.
44:39 --> 44:42 [SPEAKER_00]: Good, I hope it's blasting for 50 people to listen to.
44:42 --> 44:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry if I pierce anybody's ears, my bad.
44:44 --> 44:50 [SPEAKER_01]: I think you did, I think this is gonna have the ice click off rate at this moment of any part in the podcast.
44:51 --> 44:53 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, it better not, because people got to get dialed into this thing.
44:54 --> 45:00 [SPEAKER_00]: Fine, I will just say the words, Mr. Rager, hey Mr. Rager, tell me where you're going, tell me where you're headed, now it impures people's ears.
45:01 --> 45:17 [SPEAKER_01]: That is the playoff anthem you have once this comes out you have about 24 hours to study up 20 maybe 36 hours study up before the before the game on on Saturday if you're going yeah and all you really need to know is the course you don't have to memorize the entire song just just get the course
45:18 --> 45:22 [SPEAKER_01]: So the plan is for Lao and I will be at game one if you want to come find us.
45:22 --> 45:25 [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be in this dance just like all of you, not down on the field.
45:25 --> 45:29 [SPEAKER_01]: We'll be in the stance, screaming, hanging out if you see us.
45:30 --> 45:39 [SPEAKER_01]: I believe we'll be vlogging so you can get the vlog and just collectively scream about Mariners baseball, postseason Mariners baseball.
45:39 --> 45:41 [SPEAKER_01]: Hopefully we have voices left, I guess we'll see.
45:42 --> 45:47 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm not, I'm not feeling too confident that we're going to have voices on on Saturday.
45:47 --> 45:47 [SPEAKER_01]: So.
45:47 --> 45:49 [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, we'll see.
45:49 --> 45:54 [SPEAKER_01]: A reminder to you guys this schedule for recording now that the playoffs are about to start.
45:55 --> 46:01 [SPEAKER_01]: Instead of normal Monday Wednesday Friday, we will be doing an episode after every single game.
46:01 --> 46:05 [SPEAKER_01]: At least throughout the division series in the championship series.
46:05 --> 46:07 [SPEAKER_01]: So that's how it will be structured.
46:08 --> 46:13 [SPEAKER_01]: For example, there's no game on Monday, so there will not be that normal Monday podcast.
46:14 --> 46:18 [SPEAKER_01]: Instead, you will have a post game show from Sunday to listen to instead.
46:19 --> 46:42 [SPEAKER_00]: Post game after every game and we're gonna try and turn them around as fast as we can again We will be at the game Saturday So give us a little time to get home at all that crazy traffic and sit down and set up to record But we're gonna get these things out as fast as we can for all you guys and turn them around as quickly as we can So we can give our instant reactions and immediate takeaways to the game
46:43 --> 46:44 [SPEAKER_00]: So we're gonna be doing that all postseason.
46:45 --> 46:46 [SPEAKER_00]: Hopefully you guys are dialed in for it.
46:46 --> 46:47 [SPEAKER_00]: We know we will be.
46:47 --> 46:49 [SPEAKER_01]: This is gonna be a busy weekend soda.
46:49 --> 46:51 [SPEAKER_01]: Sounders, C-Hawks, and two playoff games.
46:52 --> 46:52 [SPEAKER_00]: Crazy.
46:53 --> 46:56 [SPEAKER_00]: This is what every Seattle sports fan asked for, though.
46:56 --> 46:57 [SPEAKER_00]: They want their teams to be fun.
46:58 --> 47:03 [SPEAKER_00]: I know this is a Mariners podcast, but C-Hawks are three and one, and they're playing a good bucks team this weekend.
47:03 --> 47:07 [SPEAKER_00]: So there's that, and we'll help the bucks team is good.
47:08 --> 47:09 [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, yeah, actually, the buck, what am I saying?
47:09 --> 47:13 [SPEAKER_00]: The bucks are insanely banged up right now, like insanely banged up, anyway.
47:14 --> 47:17 [SPEAKER_00]: Much more importantly, two Mariners playoff games.
47:17 --> 47:21 [SPEAKER_00]: You know how many you were guaranteed last time, three years ago, one.
47:22 --> 47:34 [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, let's all remember, in the last 25 years, the Mariners have still not scored a run at home in a postseason game for as crazy as those 18 innings were three years ago.
47:34 --> 47:37 [SPEAKER_00]: And we were there for all of it before this podcast ever started.
47:38 --> 47:40 [SPEAKER_00]: We didn't get to explode to one run being scored.
47:40 --> 47:50 [SPEAKER_00]: That crowd that was so amazing last time, one was already down to nothing, so there was a little bit of air taking out of that balloon, and you didn't get to see a single run.
47:51 --> 47:53 [SPEAKER_00]: This crowd this weekend is gonna be,
47:54 --> 48:16 [SPEAKER_00]: sold out obviously insanely electric loud as hell favored in the series unlike last time and it's gonna be at zero zero not to nothing and when they score run for the first time god that place is gonna explode if somebody hits a homer call hits a homer it's gonna be just absolutely just mayhem in that place and i cannot wait
48:18 --> 48:19 [SPEAKER_01]: It's gonna be a fun weekend dog.
48:19 --> 48:23 [SPEAKER_00]: And it's stressful as all hell, but in the best of ways fun.
48:24 --> 48:26 [SPEAKER_00]: So this is what we all asked for, right?
48:26 --> 48:27 [SPEAKER_00]: This is what we all wanted.
48:27 --> 48:28 [SPEAKER_00]: So let's do it.
48:29 --> 48:30 [SPEAKER_00]: That's the way we get healthy.
48:30 --> 48:31 [SPEAKER_00]: It's fastest humanly possible.
48:31 --> 48:31 [SPEAKER_00]: That'd be awesome.
48:33 --> 48:36 [SPEAKER_00]: Alright, I think that just about wraps up this edition of the Marine Lair podcast.
