00:00 --> 00:12 [SPEAKER_00]: episode number 314 of the Marine Layer podcast the Mariners fall in game six and of course in classic Mariners fashion we'll head to a game seven on Monday night we'll allow an I be able to handle it.
00:12 --> 00:13 [SPEAKER_00]: We'll let you know.
00:14 --> 00:29 [SPEAKER_01]: Remember you guys before this podcast starts make sure you're going over to our website marinelayerpod.com or you can find all of our stuff all our episodes are over there audio and video along with our merch which we love seeing
00:29 --> 00:34 [SPEAKER_01]: You can sign up for our Patreon and you can find us all across social media at Marine Lair pod.
00:35 --> 00:35 [SPEAKER_01]: Let's get it rolling.
00:49 --> 01:16 [SPEAKER_00]: And we welcome you to this episode of the Marine Lair podcast part of the just baseball podcast network recording here on Sunday evening October 19th and of course The Mariners are gonna make us sit through a game seven on Monday to tomorrow might be the longest day on the history of planet Earth for the two of us and the rest of Mariners fans out there Fuck Fuck that's the only way I can start this podcast.
01:16 --> 01:17 [SPEAKER_01]: Sorry for anybody listening.
01:17 --> 01:19 [SPEAKER_01]: That's like still in school
01:21 --> 01:43 [SPEAKER_00]: deserved to be honest because that I mean that's really how game six felt I could imagine someone who doesn't even swear when watching the meritors at the plate in the third inning fourth inning and fifth inning watched out those endings concluded I think that's the only conceivable reaction to it I mean people looking for a reason why they lost the game
01:43 --> 01:45 [SPEAKER_00]: Do people want a reason?
01:45 --> 01:46 [SPEAKER_00]: I'll give you a reason.
01:46 --> 01:47 [SPEAKER_00]: It's not the airs.
01:48 --> 01:49 [SPEAKER_00]: It's not even Logan Gilbert's start.
01:49 --> 01:55 [SPEAKER_00]: It's the fact the offense who had treasavage like asking them to hit him.
01:55 --> 01:57 [SPEAKER_00]: He was asking them, please light me up.
01:58 --> 01:59 [SPEAKER_00]: Please hit a grand slam.
01:59 --> 02:01 [SPEAKER_00]: Please hit a double in the gap.
02:01 --> 02:03 [SPEAKER_00]: Heck, please take ball four.
02:04 --> 02:05 [SPEAKER_00]: And I'll walk in or run for you.
02:06 --> 02:17 [SPEAKER_00]: and the Mariners sit into, not one, not two, three double plays in three consecutive innings to essentially kill any chance they had to win the game tonight.
02:18 --> 02:18 [SPEAKER_00]: Any chance?
02:18 --> 02:19 [SPEAKER_00]: That was it right there.
02:20 --> 02:22 [SPEAKER_01]: It's what I set after the fourth inning.
02:22 --> 02:27 [SPEAKER_01]: I said, you don't ground into two straight double plays with the bases loaded and come back from four runs down to what a game.
02:27 --> 02:28 [SPEAKER_01]: You just don't do it.
02:28 --> 02:30 [SPEAKER_01]: It doesn't happen.
02:31 --> 02:35 [SPEAKER_01]: Evidently, that's exactly the result, because the Mariners did not come back.
02:35 --> 02:41 [SPEAKER_01]: And for anybody that thinks TJ might be exaggerating when he's saying Treyus Savage was asking the Mariners to just absolutely square him the hell up.
02:42 --> 02:43 [SPEAKER_01]: No, he's not.
02:43 --> 02:48 [SPEAKER_01]: This is not to take away from the fact that Treyus Savage did turn in a good start and his final line was very good.
02:48 --> 03:02 [SPEAKER_01]: But TJ's right that for the second start in a row where he's seen the Mariners, his stuff totally deteriorated after about three innings didn't have the same one, in third inning his fast hit the first pitch of the third inning was 92 miles an hour.
03:03 --> 03:12 [SPEAKER_01]: Okay, so after two innings, a guy making his sixth career big league start in not so shocking fashion has his stuff started deteriorating.
03:12 --> 03:13 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, and the Mariners still could not jump on it.
03:13 --> 03:14 [SPEAKER_01]: Just couldn't do it.
03:15 --> 03:15 [UNKNOWN]: Nope.
03:15 --> 03:38 [SPEAKER_00]: and they were talking about on the on the broadcast a bunch like john smolts is pointing out how treasavage loved to go fastball first pitch splitter second pitch and the bearers kept swinging at those second pitch splitters after falling behind oh one which is by the way if there's one thing that treasavage i thought to really well tonight is he was always in there for a first pitch strike unlike Logan Gilbert who always seem to be starting at ball one.
03:38 --> 03:49 [SPEAKER_00]: Big big difference when you start with strike one versus ball one, but when strike one is coming in at 92 miles an hour over the plate It should be getting crushed.
03:49 --> 03:56 [SPEAKER_00]: Do you know what the blue j's hitters do when you throw them a 92 mile an hour fastball over the plate The ball is in the outfield for a base hit.
03:56 --> 03:57 [SPEAKER_00]: That's what Vlad he does.
03:57 --> 04:00 [SPEAKER_00]: That's what springer does that what Ernie
04:00 --> 04:12 [SPEAKER_00]: Ernie Clement is earning like Carrie Carpenter level of PTSD for me where I literally don't think I ever want to see Ernie Clement play another baseball game again and less he's playing on the Seattle Mariners after this series is over.
04:12 --> 04:18 [SPEAKER_00]: But that's exactly what the Blue Jays did and they did that more tonight and it was a big reason they were able to put up the runs.
04:18 --> 04:20 [SPEAKER_00]: They did because the Mariners have leaving pictures over the middle of the plate.
04:20 --> 04:22 [SPEAKER_00]: They're smacking them for hits again.
04:22 --> 04:29 [SPEAKER_00]: Like that's the Blue Jays strength for this series has shown up and that's a
04:31 --> 04:31 [SPEAKER_00]: huge reason.
04:32 --> 04:39 [SPEAKER_01]: And Logan, look, it was pretty clear what his plan of attack was going to be going into the start, gets a ton of swing and miss with the splitter.
04:39 --> 04:43 [SPEAKER_01]: Clearly was a plan that he wanted to just kill the blue jays with splitters.
04:43 --> 04:46 [SPEAKER_01]: Unfortunately, he was not landing a lot of those for strikes.
04:46 --> 04:52 [SPEAKER_01]: He threw a lot of really uncompetitive splitters, a lot of them which Cal had to do everything in his power to keep in front of them.
04:53 --> 04:55 [SPEAKER_01]: So, Logan and Nav is best stuff.
04:56 --> 04:57 [SPEAKER_01]: Left a couple too far out over the plate.
04:57 --> 05:01 [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously, the one to Vladdy, he crushed
05:01 --> 05:10 [SPEAKER_01]: That one really was killer, the out of some barger Homer, because Logan in that inning got two straight outs to start the third, gives up a triple off the wall, and then a home run.
05:11 --> 05:19 [SPEAKER_01]: So, look, to the Mariners win that game of Logan doesn't do that, probably not, because this is going to boil down to the offense, just not doing anything and not executing when they had opportunities.
05:20 --> 05:25 [SPEAKER_01]: But if you want to look at Logan's starters the whole and where the Blue Jays generated their offense,
05:26 --> 05:32 [SPEAKER_01]: There's a couple of places that third inning first share and just the fact that he could not seem to get his splitter going.
05:32 --> 05:35 [SPEAKER_01]: That's a little bit of the story of this game when you look at the two pitchers.
05:36 --> 05:38 [SPEAKER_01]: Try a savage hat the splitter working.
05:38 --> 05:40 [SPEAKER_01]: Logan didn't have his A game with a splitter.
05:41 --> 05:47 [SPEAKER_00]: Could you argue that Logan wouldn't have been out there in the third inning if the Mariners had actually cashed in on that basis loaded opportunity in the top half?
05:47 --> 05:50 [SPEAKER_00]: By the way, there were arms warming and the Mariners penned in the second inning.
05:51 --> 05:53 [SPEAKER_00]: They were thinking about it.
05:53 --> 06:04 [SPEAKER_00]: If the Mariners gap gap a double on its three two ends or maybe they add on a couple more and they get four runs out of that inning and it's four two Mariners, are you letting Logan Gilbert back out there?
06:05 --> 06:10 [SPEAKER_00]: Because he had one inning, one base runner, and then the second inning was just a headache.
06:10 --> 06:11 [SPEAKER_00]: He couldn't land strikes.
06:12 --> 06:16 [SPEAKER_00]: It wasn't fooling the blue jays that much outside of a couple of strikeouts.
06:17 --> 06:22 [SPEAKER_00]: And mostly, he just was not in control of ever, of anything on the mount.
06:22 --> 06:23 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah.
06:23 --> 06:28 [SPEAKER_00]: You can make a real case that, you know, you turn a bizarre to that moment for two winnings.
06:28 --> 06:34 [SPEAKER_00]: But as Smoltz was talking about on the broadcast and this makes a, like, makes a lot of sense.
06:34 --> 06:38 [SPEAKER_00]: And this is what we'll talk about when we preview game seven tomorrow later in this podcast.
06:39 --> 06:44 [SPEAKER_00]: The Mariners know they get one more game at least, no matter what, because they have a three two series lead.
06:44 --> 06:52 [SPEAKER_00]: You're not going to burn all your A level bopin arms for 40 pitches if you don't have to in this game knowing you have one more opportunity at this.
06:53 --> 06:57 [SPEAKER_00]: but also the Mariners left Logan Gilbert in longer because they couldn't score any runs.
06:57 --> 06:58 [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why he was giving up.
06:58 --> 07:00 [SPEAKER_00]: The Blue Jays were seeing him and hitting him a little bit.
07:00 --> 07:01 [SPEAKER_00]: People were like, oh, why don't you take him out?
07:02 --> 07:03 [SPEAKER_00]: Because the offense isn't doing anything.
07:03 --> 07:06 [SPEAKER_00]: They're not giving you any reason to take Logan Gilbert out of the game.
07:07 --> 07:11 [SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't quite to this extent, but it's a little bit like leaving Kirby out there to wear it in game three.
07:12 --> 07:14 [SPEAKER_01]: Mariners said to themselves, we're up to nothing.
07:14 --> 07:16 [SPEAKER_01]: We're not gonna play this game like it's a must win.
07:17 --> 07:18 [SPEAKER_01]: We're gonna like Kirby go wear it.
07:19 --> 07:23 [SPEAKER_01]: Wasn't quite to that level, because Logan and give up eight runs like Kirby did.
07:24 --> 07:25 [SPEAKER_01]: It was to a level where you're right.
07:25 --> 07:31 [SPEAKER_01]: If the offense wasn't going to be competitive, Dan Wilson's not going to start plugging and playing all his A-level relievers in a fibrangame.
07:31 --> 07:32 [SPEAKER_01]: It's just not going to happen.
07:33 --> 07:35 [SPEAKER_00]: We haven't talked about the errors yet.
07:35 --> 07:42 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think the errors were the main reason the Mariners lost, but it was kind of a theme of this game for the most part.
07:42 --> 07:49 [SPEAKER_00]: It's just the lack of execution and maybe a tiny bit lack of focus in those singular moments that helped the Blue Jays.
07:50 --> 07:59 [SPEAKER_00]: The errors added on two runs to the Blue Jays total, where you think, okay, one of those swings with the bases loaded has you at a tie game.
07:59 --> 08:03 [SPEAKER_00]: Cal doesn't throw that ball away.
08:03 --> 08:05 [SPEAKER_00]: Second, third, second inning.
08:05 --> 08:07 [SPEAKER_00]: You don't have to kick that ball in the second inning.
08:08 --> 08:09 [SPEAKER_00]: That's a four-four-type game right there.
08:10 --> 08:12 [SPEAKER_00]: We're having a different conversation right now.
08:13 --> 08:14 [SPEAKER_01]: Or how about this?
08:14 --> 08:18 [SPEAKER_01]: In that same inning, the genome doesn't feel the ball cleanly.
08:18 --> 08:23 [SPEAKER_01]: At that before, Hulio bubbles the ball out in the center field to give bar show an extra base.
08:24 --> 08:25 [SPEAKER_01]: If he doesn't do that, bar show stays at first.
08:26 --> 08:29 [SPEAKER_01]: And if genome doesn't bubble that ball, that turns into a double play, likely.
08:30 --> 08:31 [SPEAKER_01]: And that changes that entire inning.
08:31 --> 08:33 [SPEAKER_01]: That's three runs.
08:35 --> 08:39 [SPEAKER_00]: Instead, BlueJace get all three of those runs back, because the Mariners defense comes back to bite them.
08:39 --> 08:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Which is a weakness, the Mariners were one of the worst defensive teams in baseball this year.
08:44 --> 08:49 [SPEAKER_00]: I was hoping it wasn't going to have to cost them a series, and we won't know that until tomorrow.
08:49 --> 08:52 [SPEAKER_00]: But in terms of preventable things, that was very preventable.
08:52 --> 09:00 [SPEAKER_00]: But it's just a whole laundry list of things in this game that the Mariners did not do well, and a reason that they are going to have to play game 7 tomorrow.
09:00 --> 09:02 [SPEAKER_00]: Which I'm not looking forward towards.
09:02 --> 09:03 [SPEAKER_00]: Or maybe I am.
09:03 --> 09:04 [SPEAKER_00]: We'll see how I am tomorrow.
09:04 --> 09:09 [SPEAKER_00]: Right now, the thought of their being a doer die game is terrifying me.
09:09 --> 09:10 [SPEAKER_00]: Terrifying.
09:11 --> 09:13 [SPEAKER_01]: No, I'm not looking forward to a game seven.
09:13 --> 09:17 [SPEAKER_01]: No, no, especially when you consider they were up to nothing in this series.
09:17 --> 09:19 [SPEAKER_01]: Think about this, this is a harsh reality.
09:20 --> 09:29 [SPEAKER_01]: If they can't pull out a game seven, when tomorrow, the truth is you lost four or five to end your season, that's a harsh thing for everybody.
09:31 --> 09:33 [SPEAKER_01]: But for the mayor since they went up too.
09:33 --> 09:37 [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, and you had a clear advantage coming home You lose four or five and you're seasoned.
09:38 --> 09:48 [SPEAKER_00]: Oh, it's a tough pill this while Before we actually talk about the game seven though like there's this theme with this series that I can't like I can't get out And I had it doesn't make me feel very good.
09:49 --> 09:57 [SPEAKER_00]: It's the starting rotation The starting rotation this series is late has late Nick besides besides Bryce Miller.
09:57 --> 09:59 [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry Bryce Miller
09:59 --> 10:05 [SPEAKER_00]: has pitched into the three Mariners wins this series and he's been pretty good in both of them.
10:06 --> 10:08 [SPEAKER_00]: 10 combined innings and has allowed three runs.
10:08 --> 10:12 [SPEAKER_00]: That's a sub three ARA right there for Bryce Miller for someone who's supposed to be in the bullpen.
10:12 --> 10:13 [SPEAKER_00]: That's great.
10:15 --> 10:41 [SPEAKER_00]: Even with that, Mariners starters this series have an area over six, and the four starts, the Mariners got that weren't Bryce Miller's, Logan Gilbert goes three andnings allows three runs, George Kirby goes four andnings allows eight runs, Luis goes two and a third, three runs, Logan Gilbert starts tonight, four andnings, five runs, like this is supposed to be the mayor, this is supposed to be something that gives the Mariners an X factor in this series, a strength.
10:41 --> 10:45 [SPEAKER_00]: One mariner strength that has showed up is high leverage bullpen arms.
10:45 --> 10:48 [SPEAKER_00]: That has been evident between the two teams this series.
10:49 --> 10:58 [SPEAKER_00]: The matchup between the mariner's uber talented rotation and the blue jays uber talented lineup has been a total mismatch.
10:59 --> 11:04 [SPEAKER_00]: The blue jays lineup has matched the mariner's starters around with no issue at all.
11:04 --> 11:08 [SPEAKER_00]: Their strength came to play and has given them this opportunity.
11:08 --> 11:11 [SPEAKER_00]: The mariner's strength has almost held them back.
11:11 --> 11:17 [SPEAKER_00]: In the fact that they've gotten to a game seven, with some of these starts, the murders have gotten from their starters.
11:17 --> 11:22 [SPEAKER_00]: This series has almost a minor miracle to be honest.
11:22 --> 11:26 [SPEAKER_00]: If you just look at it from a numbers perspective, like it's hard to win.
11:26 --> 11:31 [SPEAKER_00]: When your starters are giving you almost uncompetitive outings every time.
11:33 --> 11:34 [SPEAKER_01]: So what's going to give in game seven?
11:35 --> 11:37 [SPEAKER_01]: What the hell is going to change in game seven?
11:37 --> 11:39 [SPEAKER_01]: So put the Mariners over the top.
11:40 --> 11:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, I have an idea for a strategy, but first, let's pause for an ad.

13:01 --> 13:02 [SPEAKER_00]: So check it out while you can.
13:02 --> 13:04 [SPEAKER_00]: The links are in the description.
13:06 --> 13:09 [SPEAKER_00]: My pitching strategy for game seven.
13:09 --> 13:10 [SPEAKER_00]: So George is going to get to start.
13:12 --> 13:14 [SPEAKER_00]: George Kirby is going to have the quickest hook on planet Earth.
13:15 --> 13:18 [SPEAKER_00]: That I've ever thought of in a baseball game.
13:19 --> 13:27 [SPEAKER_00]: ever review we'll talk about this for Bryson in game five against no sorry those came for against the tigers.
13:30 --> 13:37 [SPEAKER_00]: Kirby pitched already in one elimination game for the Mariners this series with this postseason game five against the tigers it's pretty good.
13:37 --> 13:38 [SPEAKER_00]: He did his job.
13:39 --> 13:42 [SPEAKER_00]: I would take that performance again from the blue jays against the blue jays.
13:43 --> 13:48 [SPEAKER_00]: But as I just read out, his last start against the Blue Jace was not very good at all.
13:49 --> 13:53 [SPEAKER_00]: George Kirby gets one time through the order for me in this game.
13:53 --> 13:54 [SPEAKER_00]: That's it, once.
13:55 --> 14:00 [SPEAKER_00]: Because even if you win this game, it three days off before game one of the world's series, three days.
14:02 --> 14:07 [SPEAKER_00]: All your bullpin arms, all your starters, who might throw in this game, they have three days to rest.
14:08 --> 14:11 [SPEAKER_00]: And most of them will be unnormal rest by the time you you turn it around.
14:12 --> 14:17 [SPEAKER_00]: I Okay, so I've backed my strategy.
14:18 --> 14:26 [SPEAKER_00]: Kirby gets one time through the order two maybe three innings and then some combination of bazzardo
14:26 --> 14:30 [SPEAKER_00]: Castillo, Wu, Brash, and Muñoz to finish the game.
14:31 --> 14:34 [SPEAKER_00]: Those are the only guys, and Gabe Spire, if there's a lefty thing you need to get out.
14:34 --> 14:35 [SPEAKER_00]: They need to get barged out.
14:36 --> 14:37 [SPEAKER_00]: They need to get barged show out.
14:38 --> 14:40 [SPEAKER_00]: Gabe comes in in that moment.
14:40 --> 14:43 [SPEAKER_00]: Otherwise, those are the only guys I want in the game.
14:43 --> 14:43 [SPEAKER_00]: That's it.
14:45 --> 14:47 [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, I think that's pretty self-explanatory.
14:47 --> 14:48 [SPEAKER_01]: I think those are the only guys you will see.
14:49 --> 14:51 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think you're going to see anybody else.
14:51 --> 15:03 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm fine with George Kirby pitching two and a third innings and then the lineup flips over and then Bizarro comes in for maybe another time through the order because Bizarro can do that in Bizarro only through
15:04 --> 15:07 [SPEAKER_00]: 15 pitches tonight think it was a little more.
15:07 --> 15:08 [SPEAKER_00]: I've got it up though.
15:09 --> 15:09 [SPEAKER_00]: You're funny.
15:10 --> 15:10 [SPEAKER_01]: You're right.
15:10 --> 15:11 [SPEAKER_01]: 15 pitches.
15:11 --> 15:12 [SPEAKER_00]: Perfect.
15:12 --> 15:14 [SPEAKER_00]: He can pitch one time through the order tomorrow.
15:14 --> 15:14 [SPEAKER_00]: If you need them to.
15:14 --> 15:16 [SPEAKER_00]: Then three days to rest before the Dodgers.
15:17 --> 15:18 [SPEAKER_00]: He's shown he's going to do it.
15:18 --> 15:18 [SPEAKER_00]: He can do it.
15:18 --> 15:19 [SPEAKER_00]: He can do it this postseason.
15:19 --> 15:23 [SPEAKER_00]: He's been one of the few guys that's been consistently effective against this blue j's lineup.
15:24 --> 15:34 [SPEAKER_00]: So I would go to him early to try and get one time through the order
15:35 --> 15:44 [SPEAKER_00]: And then I'm bringing Brian Woo-In at the start of an inning that a Bizarro finishes or say if you need Brash or Gabe to finish an inning for Bizarro, they finish and then Woo comes in.
15:44 --> 15:48 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm hoping Wolf feels a little bit better now back into game action for the second time.
15:49 --> 15:51 [SPEAKER_00]: And then I'm letting Munoes get the rest of the outs.
15:52 --> 15:57 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm sorry, like I just need the best possible guys out there for this game.
15:57 --> 16:07 [SPEAKER_00]: You need to manage like you're not playing tomorrow and the difference between the DS and the CS is that the division series you got one game off before game one of the championship series.
16:07 --> 16:10 [SPEAKER_00]: No matter what in this, you will get at least three days off.
16:11 --> 16:13 [SPEAKER_00]: So you might as well throw everybody.
16:14 --> 16:17 [SPEAKER_01]: Well, you're either getting three days off or you're getting about five months off.
16:19 --> 16:20 [SPEAKER_01]: No pressure.
16:21 --> 16:23 [SPEAKER_01]: So in your scenario, Castillo's not even pitching.
16:25 --> 16:27 [SPEAKER_00]: I think I'd be okay with Castillo.
16:27 --> 16:29 [SPEAKER_00]: It's just hard for me to trust the starters.
16:29 --> 16:30 [SPEAKER_00]: They've been so bad.
16:32 --> 16:44 [SPEAKER_01]: Again, maybe in an emergency, that would be the scenario where you see the Wii S N, like heaven, heaven for Ben, if we see extra fucking innings in games seven.
16:44 --> 16:51 [SPEAKER_00]: That might send me to my grave if they go to extra innings.
16:52 --> 16:52 [SPEAKER_00]: Bryce.
16:53 --> 16:53 [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
16:54 --> 17:00 [SPEAKER_01]: I think Wu did his job to an thing because of one run ball was fine, but he hasn't probably not enough of a sample size.
17:01 --> 17:01 [SPEAKER_00]: Mooney.
17:02 --> 17:02 [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
17:02 --> 17:03 [SPEAKER_01]: Mooney.
17:04 --> 17:04 [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
17:07 --> 17:08 [SPEAKER_01]: He's a zardo.
17:09 --> 17:09 [SPEAKER_01]: Yeah, a zardo.
17:11 --> 17:12 [SPEAKER_01]: So that's at three.
17:12 --> 17:15 [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, we know the starters of not pitch well.
17:15 --> 17:16 [SPEAKER_01]: Hasn't that been well outlined?
17:17 --> 17:17 [SPEAKER_00]: Mm-hmm.
17:18 --> 17:18 [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
17:18 --> 17:19 [SPEAKER_00]: That's the point I'm making.
17:19 --> 17:23 [SPEAKER_00]: where all these guys need to have the quickest to a humanly possible tomorrow.
17:25 --> 17:28 [SPEAKER_00]: Just put out.
17:28 --> 17:29 [SPEAKER_00]: What else are we thinking about for tomorrow?
17:29 --> 17:31 [SPEAKER_00]: Like the offense clearly needs to show up.
17:31 --> 17:35 [SPEAKER_00]: They're not, if they ground into a base as low to double play tomorrow.
17:36 --> 17:38 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, just consider it.
17:38 --> 17:40 [SPEAKER_00]: There's 27 outs left in the season potentially.
17:42 --> 17:49 [SPEAKER_00]: The mariners are either gonna come through with the base as low to tomorrow or their season's probably gonna end.
17:51 --> 17:56 [SPEAKER_01]: Here's a number, O411, you know what that is?
17:56 --> 17:58 [SPEAKER_00]: Wernerson scoring position.
18:00 --> 18:03 [SPEAKER_01]: I wish I could say yes, although was that their actual number, O411?
18:03 --> 18:06 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't know, you're the one with the number.
18:06 --> 18:09 [SPEAKER_01]: Well, I thought you were saying they, you had that number in front of you.
18:10 --> 18:10 [SPEAKER_01]: No, that's not the answer.
18:11 --> 18:16 [SPEAKER_01]: O411 was what Julio Cal and Jorge Polanco combined for here at a night in game six.
18:16 --> 18:17 [SPEAKER_01]: Playin' in simple, you wanna win game seven?
18:17 --> 18:19 [SPEAKER_01]: That can't happen.
18:19 --> 18:19 [SPEAKER_00]: No.
18:20 --> 18:21 [SPEAKER_01]: You better have your stars show up.
18:23 --> 18:25 [SPEAKER_00]: What about for what the blue jays are going to throw out there?
18:27 --> 18:29 [SPEAKER_01]: The blue jays are going to throw everybody too.
18:29 --> 18:33 [SPEAKER_01]: I mean, obviously, Shane Bieber's going to start, but everybody betrays Savage will be available.
18:33 --> 18:34 [SPEAKER_01]: So you'll see Bieber.
18:35 --> 18:39 [SPEAKER_01]: You may see Max Scherzer and you're probably going to see Kevin Gauzeman at some point.
18:39 --> 18:42 [SPEAKER_01]: Which, let's say this again.
18:44 --> 18:49 [SPEAKER_01]: You know what, I'm not going to say anything about anything possibly or possibly not favoring the marriage.
18:50 --> 18:50 [SPEAKER_01]: Let's just say this.
18:51 --> 18:55 [SPEAKER_01]: You are going to get another chance tomorrow, again, Shane Bieber and Max Scherzer.
18:57 --> 19:00 [SPEAKER_01]: You should hit those guys.
19:01 --> 19:10 [SPEAKER_01]: I can't promise anything, but what is those guys have shown in their season, even though Bieber's been better than Scherzer, that's for sure.
19:10 --> 19:11 [SPEAKER_01]: He's been solid.
19:11 --> 19:13 [SPEAKER_01]: He hasn't been Prime Shane Bieber.
19:14 --> 19:17 [SPEAKER_01]: But those guys have shown, you should be able to find a way to hit them.
19:17 --> 19:19 [SPEAKER_01]: Shores are especially if he comes in.
19:19 --> 19:20 [SPEAKER_01]: We're not going to guarantee anything.
19:20 --> 19:21 [SPEAKER_01]: We're not going to say anything about favoring.
19:22 --> 19:23 [SPEAKER_01]: We're not going to say anything about matchups.
19:24 --> 19:25 [SPEAKER_01]: You should hit those guys.
19:26 --> 19:30 [SPEAKER_00]: And you'll get the opportunity too, because I don't think the Blue Jays trust many of those guys in their bullpen.
19:30 --> 19:37 [SPEAKER_00]: And by the way, one of the guys they do trust in Jeff Hoffman, the little of the Blue Jays fans were pining for to face Gino instead of Brendan Little and Game 5.
19:38 --> 19:40 [SPEAKER_00]: The rest of them have been bad.
19:40 --> 19:45 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think anyone, anyone trusts those other, I'm sorry, I was talking about Hoffman.
19:45 --> 19:47 [SPEAKER_00]: Hoffman threw over 30 pitches tonight.
19:48 --> 19:51 [SPEAKER_01]: Well, and I was going to say, Hoffman didn't have a good year either.
19:52 --> 19:52 [SPEAKER_00]: We were pretty good tonight.
19:53 --> 19:57 [SPEAKER_01]: He looked good tonight, but if you're talking about his season, I mean, his fifth was almost five.
19:57 --> 20:02 [SPEAKER_01]: He was not the guy they paid him to be when he came over from Philly, to be a Premier Closer, not at all.
20:03 --> 20:07 [SPEAKER_01]: Gary was nearly four, four had ups and downs throughout the year.
20:08 --> 20:10 [SPEAKER_01]: like this happens with relievers are fickle.
20:11 --> 20:12 [SPEAKER_01]: They're not always they're not always perfect.
20:12 --> 20:13 [SPEAKER_01]: They have up and down years.
20:13 --> 20:15 [SPEAKER_01]: This is not a good Jeff Hoffman year.
20:16 --> 20:18 [SPEAKER_00]: You might only get starters from the blue jays tomorrow.
20:18 --> 20:25 [SPEAKER_00]: Maybe a mix, maybe Serenthini Dominguez comes back in for the blue jays, but otherwise like, I know Brandon little's not coming into tomorrow.
20:25 --> 20:27 [SPEAKER_00]: I don't think so.
20:27 --> 20:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Um, you really might only get for at least most of it, Shane Bieber, Scherzer and Gosman.
20:34 --> 20:41 [SPEAKER_00]: I do think that somewhat benefits the mariner, even though I don't really want to see Kevin Gosman, at least you'll be seeing these guys for a third time.
20:41 --> 20:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Second time for Scherzer and Bieber, third time for Gosman.
20:45 --> 20:56 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, it is a little bit better than only getting a couple looks versus one pocket of your lineup for a reliever, right?
20:57 --> 20:59 [SPEAKER_01]: What if the Mariners just bury him tomorrow?
20:59 --> 21:00 [SPEAKER_01]: Like what if?
21:00 --> 21:02 [SPEAKER_00]: What if they just want 10 to 1?
21:02 --> 21:03 [SPEAKER_00]: Be perfect.
21:03 --> 21:05 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, that would be the best day of my life.
21:05 --> 21:06 [SPEAKER_00]: That would be the best day of my life.
21:08 --> 21:11 [SPEAKER_01]: But knowing them, they just never make it that easy.
21:12 --> 21:13 [SPEAKER_00]: I'll tell you this, Law.
21:13 --> 21:16 [SPEAKER_00]: We asked on the last podcast.
21:16 --> 21:18 [SPEAKER_00]: We're adding chapters to the DVD.
21:20 --> 21:21 [SPEAKER_00]: This is a chapter.
21:23 --> 21:24 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, you have the chapter.
21:24 --> 21:27 [SPEAKER_00]: They're going to setting games for the first time ever.
21:27 --> 21:29 [SPEAKER_00]: We keep talking about making the world serious for the first time.
21:29 --> 21:31 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, they also haven't played in a game seven ever.
21:33 --> 21:33 [SPEAKER_00]: That's nuts.
21:34 --> 21:35 [SPEAKER_01]: That really is crazy.
21:35 --> 21:37 [SPEAKER_01]: They played in the game five, but not game sevens.
21:39 --> 21:46 [SPEAKER_00]: The fact that we have to suffer through a game five and a game seven in the same postseason is.
21:47 --> 21:51 [SPEAKER_00]: Kind of unfair, but also remarkably on-brand for being a Mariners fan.
21:52 --> 22:02 [SPEAKER_00]: Like, of course, through the 49 years of pain and misery we've had to sit through, it almost is trained in condition does for these moments.
22:03 --> 22:06 [SPEAKER_00]: It's like we've been inflicted pain for all these years before.
22:07 --> 22:17 [SPEAKER_00]: Now when the pain instead get shrunk into a three-hour nine-in-and-game, like, of course we're going to be sitting there watching it
22:18 --> 22:20 [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think I've been well prepared.
22:20 --> 22:23 [SPEAKER_01]: I don't think anything could prepare me for this game seven.
22:23 --> 22:25 [SPEAKER_01]: I don't care about the 49 years.
22:25 --> 22:27 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm going to be a nervous wreck all day tomorrow.
22:29 --> 22:36 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm not saying not to be nervous, but it is remarkably on brand, because it's never going to be easy for us ever.
22:36 --> 22:37 [SPEAKER_01]: Oh, it's on brand.
22:37 --> 22:39 [SPEAKER_01]: That's different than what you were saying.
22:39 --> 22:39 [SPEAKER_01]: It's 100%.
22:39 --> 22:40 [SPEAKER_00]: Okay.
22:40 --> 22:41 [SPEAKER_00]: I miss awarded a little bit.
22:41 --> 22:42 [SPEAKER_00]: It is on brand.
22:42 --> 22:43 [SPEAKER_00]: So what I was going to say.
22:43 --> 22:44 [SPEAKER_00]: That was 100% on brand.
22:45 --> 22:46 [SPEAKER_00]: I am dead series son.
22:46 --> 22:53 [SPEAKER_00]: I say tomorrow, Monday, and I think everyone else agrees with me will either be the best day of my life or the worst day of my life.
22:54 --> 22:58 [SPEAKER_00]: And I'm including those days, because we're both football fans with the C.O.X.
22:59 --> 22:59 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm including that.
23:01 --> 23:02 [SPEAKER_00]: I think that they lose tomorrow.
23:02 --> 23:04 [SPEAKER_00]: It'll be worse than losing Super Bowl 49.
23:06 --> 23:07 [SPEAKER_00]: Just because we love baseball more than football.
23:08 --> 23:08 [SPEAKER_00]: If you have to pick.
23:09 --> 23:09 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
23:10 --> 23:17 [SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm a more mature sports fan now with more ingrained levels into this stuff as opposed to what I was when I was, was that 15?
23:19 --> 23:21 [SPEAKER_01]: When they lost the Super Bowl, we were juniors in high school.
23:21 --> 23:23 [SPEAKER_00]: 16.
23:25 --> 23:26 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
23:26 --> 23:28 [SPEAKER_00]: Well, yes, I do think so.
23:29 --> 23:30 [SPEAKER_00]: I think we've become bigger baseball fans.
23:30 --> 23:32 [SPEAKER_00]: And that's why it's going to hurt more tomorrow.
23:32 --> 23:40 [SPEAKER_00]: But also given that the Mariners, it took the Mariners 49 years to play in their first game seven, we have no idea when they're going to play another one.
23:40 --> 23:41 [SPEAKER_00]: No clue.
23:43 --> 23:48 [SPEAKER_01]: I would love to be not playing a game seven, but even just getting the chance.
23:49 --> 23:50 [SPEAKER_01]: We just want the chance.
23:50 --> 23:53 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, I've won in six, I've been done with this.
23:54 --> 23:57 [SPEAKER_00]: But clearly, they would have had to play better tonight, and they did not.
23:58 --> 23:59 [SPEAKER_00]: Didn't play better.
24:00 --> 24:02 [SPEAKER_01]: No.
24:02 --> 24:04 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm struggling to even keep my thoughts straight.
24:04 --> 24:05 [SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be.
24:06 --> 24:09 [SPEAKER_01]: This is going to be a hell of a 24 hours in one way or the other.
24:09 --> 24:11 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm just going to say overall, I was very disappointed at tonight.
24:11 --> 24:16 [SPEAKER_00]: There are a lot of very frustrating things, but the luxury of what you've afforded yourself.
24:16 --> 24:21 [SPEAKER_00]: winning three of the first five games of the series is that you got two opportunities to beat them in Toronto.
24:21 --> 24:23 [SPEAKER_00]: You didn't take advantage of the first one.
24:23 --> 24:25 [SPEAKER_00]: Now you have to take advantage of the second one.
24:25 --> 24:27 [SPEAKER_00]: And I think they understand that.
24:27 --> 24:30 [SPEAKER_00]: And they gotta show up and they gotta play with their hair on fire tomorrow.
24:31 --> 24:37 [SPEAKER_00]: Everyone's gotta show up in every way possible, whatever extra base they can take, extra strike they can get, or extra walk, whatever.
24:38 --> 24:40 [SPEAKER_00]: You gotta be taken advantage of tomorrow.
24:40 --> 24:45 [SPEAKER_01]: So let's say this, about George Kirby, you're right that there's gonna be a quick hook.
24:45 --> 24:50 [SPEAKER_01]: And I would say you're right about the one time through the lineup thing that there's a chance that's all he gets.
24:51 --> 24:54 [SPEAKER_01]: If he's rolling, maybe they let him keep going.
24:55 --> 24:59 [SPEAKER_01]: But if it gets to the forth inning, he's gotten through the order one time.
24:59 --> 25:00 [SPEAKER_01]: Maybe he's giving up a couple hits, no runs.
25:01 --> 25:02 [SPEAKER_01]: And he gives up a hit to start the fourth.
25:02 --> 25:03 [SPEAKER_01]: I think that's it.
25:04 --> 25:08 [SPEAKER_00]: You might just don't, I just don't see any reason why you need length from anybody.
25:09 --> 25:10 [SPEAKER_00]: No, we're free innings.
25:10 --> 25:12 [SPEAKER_01]: It's just if they're pitching well.
25:12 --> 25:14 [SPEAKER_01]: If we're pitching well fine, let him go.
25:14 --> 25:21 [SPEAKER_01]: But again, if he's not having his best day ever through three innings, then the fourth, you let him start the frame, but he gives up a hit.
25:22 --> 25:22 [SPEAKER_01]: Then yeah, that's it.
25:23 --> 25:24 [SPEAKER_00]: Exactly.
25:24 --> 25:25 [SPEAKER_01]: Here's the other part.
25:26 --> 25:38 [SPEAKER_01]: And again, most of this offensively needs to come down to your stars, your stars have to step up, still waiting on a Randy game, because even with the two hits tonight, they were not the most inspiring hits in the world.
25:38 --> 25:45 [SPEAKER_01]: Obviously guys like Randy, guys like Nailer, the three at the top of the lineup in Julio Cal, Polanco, you need those guys to not be over 11.
25:46 --> 25:51 [SPEAKER_00]: Get an image of the fact, I would disinterested Nailer look when he hit that home run tonight.
25:53 --> 25:56 [SPEAKER_00]: I'm gonna hit it and he had a enormous frown on his face.
25:56 --> 25:58 [SPEAKER_01]: I probably wasn't happy they were losing.
25:58 --> 25:59 [SPEAKER_00]: I know.
25:59 --> 26:04 [SPEAKER_00]: I thought he hit it foul because he like turns around and I thought he was gonna walk back to the dugout with no.
26:05 --> 26:06 [SPEAKER_00]: Sorry, anyways, I didn't know what that.
26:07 --> 26:08 [SPEAKER_01]: He's quite the character.
26:08 --> 26:08 [SPEAKER_01]: I must say.
26:09 --> 26:10 [SPEAKER_01]: And all the good ways.
26:10 --> 26:15 [SPEAKER_01]: But, again, it's gonna mostly come down to your stars.
26:15 --> 26:17 [SPEAKER_01]: However, if you are scripting your lineup for tomorrow.
26:19 --> 26:22 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm sorry, we both talked about this and we set up pre-recording.
26:22 --> 26:25 [SPEAKER_01]: You got to take Dom Cam's own out of the line up tomorrow.
26:25 --> 26:26 [SPEAKER_01]: He can't be in there.
26:26 --> 26:28 [SPEAKER_01]: He's lost all postseason.
26:29 --> 26:30 [SPEAKER_01]: Is it bats of not being clean?
26:30 --> 26:33 [SPEAKER_01]: You need better defense and right field if you have to pick between bats.
26:34 --> 26:36 [SPEAKER_01]: I think for game seven, you got to sit him down.
26:36 --> 26:39 [SPEAKER_01]: That doesn't mean he can't potentially pinch it.
26:39 --> 26:42 [SPEAKER_01]: Late if you really think there's a situation where you want him in there.
26:43 --> 26:45 [SPEAKER_01]: But you got to do one or two things tomorrow.
26:45 --> 26:50 [SPEAKER_01]: You either just got to put Victor Robles in right field or you got to put Polaco back out at second.
26:52 --> 27:00 [SPEAKER_01]: and put Robleson right, and I know it's gonna sound crazy, but I will throw out the idea of Mitch Garver de Hing despite they're being a righty on the mound.
27:00 --> 27:01 [SPEAKER_01]: And I say that because of this.
27:02 --> 27:03 [SPEAKER_01]: This is where numbers get thrown out the window.
27:03 --> 27:08 [SPEAKER_01]: And yes, do I know that Mitch Garver has been awful against right handers all year, all the last two years?
27:08 --> 27:08 [SPEAKER_01]: Yes.
27:10 --> 27:11 [SPEAKER_01]: But Garver's been in these games.
27:11 --> 27:13 [SPEAKER_01]: He's been in these situations.
27:13 --> 27:13 [SPEAKER_01]: He's a veteran.
27:14 --> 27:18 [SPEAKER_01]: He had the sack flying, a professional bat off scuba and came five in a high pressure game.
27:19 --> 27:30 [SPEAKER_01]: I'd rather see that that takes him at bats and just hope he gives you some level of production then rolling with canzone because he just he just unfortunately has not had it.
27:31 --> 27:32 [SPEAKER_00]: It's a fair argument.
27:32 --> 27:35 [SPEAKER_00]: I just don't like the match of it all for Garver.
27:35 --> 27:44 [SPEAKER_00]: If he was facing Gauzman tomorrow, I'd see it a little bit more, but Mitch Garver's thing for the last two years is that he just can't hit righty spin at all.
27:45 --> 27:58 [SPEAKER_00]: And the two guys that you'll see tomorrow in the first five innings of the game most likely, if they play it, how they were talking about it on the broadcast, is Bieber and Sherser, who spin it a ton.
27:59 --> 28:01 [SPEAKER_00]: Beaver's going to throw that curve ball that breaks away from Garver.
28:02 --> 28:05 [SPEAKER_00]: Chersers got a slider and a breaking ball.
28:05 --> 28:08 [SPEAKER_00]: And that's just a terrible matchup for him.
28:08 --> 28:10 [SPEAKER_00]: I would rather just put Vic in there.
28:10 --> 28:12 [SPEAKER_00]: I'd rather just swap Robless and Canzone.
28:13 --> 28:14 [SPEAKER_00]: I want to keep Leo at second base.
28:14 --> 28:16 [SPEAKER_00]: I do not need for his pores.
28:16 --> 28:21 [SPEAKER_00]: The Mariners are on defense and other spots around the diamond.
28:21 --> 28:23 [SPEAKER_00]: worst defense at second base in the biggest game.
28:23 --> 28:25 [SPEAKER_00]: And I think Leo revostes that bats have been totally fine.
28:26 --> 28:27 [SPEAKER_00]: He just missed a home run tonight.
28:27 --> 28:29 [SPEAKER_00]: I mean, in some parks that would have been out.
28:30 --> 28:31 [SPEAKER_00]: But defense is really tall in Toronto.
28:32 --> 28:33 [SPEAKER_00]: So it didn't go out.
28:33 --> 28:42 [SPEAKER_00]: But he's given Leo's giving you everything you need at this post and he's drawn walks, fouled off pitches, battled in the box, switch it so he has that for you and his defense is good at second base.
28:43 --> 28:45 [SPEAKER_00]: Like that's that's what I want my lineup.
28:45 --> 28:46 [SPEAKER_00]: I want I want
28:47 --> 28:50 [SPEAKER_00]: Revolts a second on robeless and right patting for cans on that's it.
28:51 --> 28:59 [SPEAKER_01]: No other changes needed Fair enough But yeah, you need the defense you need the potential for some speed and
28:59 --> 29:00 [SPEAKER_00]: canzone just hasn't had it.
29:01 --> 29:06 [SPEAKER_00]: If they bring like Mason, I'm going to see his name right I think flew already in from the bullpen for some reason.
29:07 --> 29:09 [SPEAKER_00]: Then I would put Mitch Garverin.
29:09 --> 29:25 [SPEAKER_01]: If somehow Garver can get to face a lefty, I would put him in otherwise I just, I don't even know at that point would you just not leave Robles in because if you put Garver in there for Robles and not a bat, then you're asking canzone to go play right field and relate innings.
29:25 --> 29:27 [SPEAKER_01]: I'm just making up a hypothetical.
29:28 --> 29:32 [SPEAKER_00]: I want the Mariners setting their line up and keeping it essentially.
29:32 --> 29:33 [SPEAKER_00]: Alright.
29:33 --> 29:35 [SPEAKER_00]: What, like, is there a bench player you need playing in the game?
29:35 --> 29:42 [SPEAKER_00]: The only bench players I wanted in the game at any point, the series, are Leo Reevaus and Victor Robles and they're both in the starting line up.
29:42 --> 29:43 [SPEAKER_01]: And Garver against the lefty, potentially.
29:43 --> 29:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Right.
29:44 --> 29:46 [SPEAKER_00]: The only person who's going to come in off the bench and hit is Kanzo.
29:48 --> 29:48 [SPEAKER_00]: I think.
29:49 --> 29:51 [SPEAKER_01]: And that's if you really decide that he needs to be in there.
29:51 --> 29:55 [SPEAKER_01]: Because again, if you put Robles in the lineup tomorrow, I think they may just run with it.
29:56 --> 30:05 [SPEAKER_01]: Because then, again, you are taking the chance on a cam's own pinch hit where he just hasn't looked right all postseason to then run him out there and write field in the late innings over Robles.
30:05 --> 30:06 [SPEAKER_01]: Mm-hmm.
30:06 --> 30:06 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah.
30:09 --> 30:11 [SPEAKER_01]: I think you got a roll with roadways tomorrow.
30:11 --> 30:11 [SPEAKER_01]: You sold me.
30:11 --> 30:15 [SPEAKER_01]: Like, I wouldn't hate the idea of having the vet in there in Garver, but you're right.
30:15 --> 30:24 [SPEAKER_01]: Then you're sacrificing some defense at second base and Garver's matchup doesn't does not vote well against Scherzering and Bieber with the righty breaking ball.
30:24 --> 30:26 [SPEAKER_01]: So, sure, just play roadways.
30:26 --> 30:27 [SPEAKER_00]: The errors hurt tonight.
30:27 --> 30:33 [SPEAKER_00]: If the mayors see an end tomorrow because of errors, I'm, I'm, I might curdle up and you won't hear from me until March.
30:35 --> 30:43 [SPEAKER_00]: Yeah, like eras are just players you're supposed to make that's it every everything that happened in the game today for the mariners that they they kicked around they could have just made Mm-hmm.
30:43 --> 30:43 [SPEAKER_00]: Good.
30:43 --> 31:03 [SPEAKER_00]: Like I've all all three of those eras routine So if that's how the mariners season ends Because you chose to put a worst fender in the field I'd rather just keep the bat in line up and put a better defender in there give yourself just give yourself a chance Just want you to try and give yourself a chance tomorrow so
31:03 --> 31:14 [SPEAKER_00]: To be someone wants like it is going to look to us to make like a clean, concise, competent prediction for tomorrow, I wish we could give it to you, but this is game seven.
31:16 --> 31:17 [SPEAKER_00]: All bets are off.
31:17 --> 31:20 [SPEAKER_00]: Ever everything that happened before this moment does not matter.
31:21 --> 31:24 [SPEAKER_00]: The set of the first six games of the series don't matter anymore.
31:25 --> 31:27 [SPEAKER_00]: How players have hit in this postseason doesn't matter anymore.
31:27 --> 31:29 [SPEAKER_00]: How the player sitting the regular season doesn't matter anymore.
31:30 --> 31:43 [SPEAKER_00]: All that matters is who shows up to play tomorrow and who comes through and which ever team does that is going to win the game tomorrow and I hope it's the Mariners because I sure as I don't know what I'm going to do if they don't I'm going to manifest this a little bit more tomorrow.
31:43 --> 31:47 [SPEAKER_00]: I think I'm going to psych myself and do it like I did for game five against Detroit.
31:48 --> 31:55 [SPEAKER_00]: Right now I never want to take a deep breath as you're listening to this and manifest some good vibes.
31:56 --> 31:56 [SPEAKER_00]: Please.
31:58 --> 32:02 [SPEAKER_01]: There are 26 Mariners tomorrow that have the opportunity to be heroes.
32:02 --> 32:10 [SPEAKER_01]: There are 26 Mariners in game seven that have the chance to write their names in the history books of this city forever.
32:10 --> 32:11 [SPEAKER_01]: Who's it gonna be?
32:11 --> 32:13 [SPEAKER_01]: Who's it gonna be in game seven?
32:14 --> 32:16 [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody, or a lot of people, hopefully.
32:16 --> 32:18 [SPEAKER_01]: Please rise to the moment.
32:18 --> 32:21 [SPEAKER_01]: 26 guys have a chance to write their name in the history books tomorrow.
32:22 --> 32:23 [SPEAKER_01]: Who's gonna step up and be the hero?
32:23 --> 32:24 [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody's gotta do it.
32:25 --> 32:27 [SPEAKER_01]: Personally, I hope it's George Kirby.
32:27 --> 32:29 [SPEAKER_01]: I know we think he's gonna have a quick hug.
32:29 --> 32:33 [SPEAKER_01]: I hope he proves everybody wrong goes out there and has the start of his freaking life tomorrow.
32:34 --> 32:35 [SPEAKER_00]: It's been big game George.
32:36 --> 32:39 [SPEAKER_00]: When they've needed it, game three against the Astros,
32:40 --> 32:41 [SPEAKER_00]: He stepped up.
32:42 --> 32:44 [SPEAKER_00]: Just can't have a repeat of what he did as first time out.
32:45 --> 32:46 [SPEAKER_00]: That's can't do it.
32:46 --> 32:52 [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be a rockist crowd inside the Rogers Center tomorrow because it's not only the Mariners fighting demons in the CLCS.
32:53 --> 32:57 [SPEAKER_00]: Blue Jays have not been to the World Series in 33 years.
32:57 --> 32:57 [SPEAKER_00]: 32.
32:57 --> 32:59 [SPEAKER_00]: 32.
33:00 --> 33:01 [SPEAKER_00]: It's been a long time.
33:02 --> 33:05 [SPEAKER_00]: So someone's going to get their heart broken tomorrow.
33:05 --> 33:06 [SPEAKER_00]: It's going to be painful.
33:06 --> 33:09 [SPEAKER_00]: It's not like the Dodgers losing in the championship series.
33:10 --> 33:13 [SPEAKER_00]: No, it's going to be some major heartbreak on the field tomorrow.
33:13 --> 33:14 [SPEAKER_00]: But we're manifesting at that.
33:14 --> 33:21 [SPEAKER_00]: It will be the Mariners and we look forward to talking to you after an ALCS game seven win tomorrow night.
33:22 --> 33:24 [SPEAKER_01]: I'll say it one more time.
33:25 --> 33:28 [SPEAKER_01]: Let the Mariners tell us who the hero is going to be in game seven.
33:28 --> 33:32 [SPEAKER_01]: Somebody or a lot of people in that club house decide who's going to be the hero.
33:33 --> 33:34 [SPEAKER_01]: Go out there and do it.
33:35 --> 33:36 [SPEAKER_01]: Go out and do it.
33:37 --> 33:42 [SPEAKER_01]: All right, until then, we're going to try to keep our sanity right, so we can actually sit in front of the TV and watch this thing.
